Hello!

I'm a French PC and consoles game developer. I developed the adventure game "Demetrios" in particular.

I've been working for 4 years on this ambitious adventure game I'm finally ready to unveil...
The first "Classic Adventure" mixed with Beat'em Up and RPG, inspired by cartoons from the 80's/early 90's.
Jymn Magon, creator of TaleSpin, Ducktales... helped me with the script!

A free prologue is available on Steam and GOG :

Steam : https://store.steampowered.com/app/1318790
GOG : https://www.gog.com/game/brok_the_investigator_prologue

Yes this is a strange mix, so I invite you to try it for yourself :)

NB : I've released 4 games so far on PC/PS4/Vita/Xbox/Switch, my silly adventure game "Demetrios" + 3 console ports of games from another developer (Xenon Valkyrie+, Riddled Corpses EX, Demon's Tier+)

Let me know if you have any questions!

I noticed this morning, look as a Disney game in fact!  (laugh)

At a first play the fighting part is easy, I hope it won't get frustating later.

I remember Demetrios, it was funny even if the humour goes too dirty sometimes.

Congrats for the release!

Yes it's definitely inspired by Disney look, as much as I can anyway!
The fighting can never get frustrating if you choose the "story" mode which allows to skip any fight.
The tone is very different for sure, but it still has some humor - not dirty though!

Thanks! If you play the prologue, hope you'll enjoy it :)

Been a while since the last update!
I have published a brand new screenshot, from the Chapter 2 of the game and featuring the second playable character, Graff:

BROK is now slated for 2022. I'm having great progress but it's a very ambitious adventure game and I want to take the time to make sure it's as good as possible.
For more info, check the latest Kickstarter updates, this one in particular:

By the way, the free Prologue is now 97% positive on Steam and 4.8/5 on GOG!

Don't get fooled by the action, this GATORIFIC "Punch & Click" adventure is for everyone!
A "relaxed" mode lets you skip all the action so you can play it like any other Point & Click adventure 😁

The Prologue was rated 97% by Steam players and 4.9/5 on GOG 😉

That's great news. I remember playing the prologue, and it was very funny!

COWCAT

Nice! "Funny" isn't the first word I expected for this game despite some slight humor because it's pretty serious overall but alright ^^

I'll amend it to "fun", then. The prologue showed great cartoonish graphics in the funny animal style. The game starts out with a glimpse into a quite horrible situation quite early on, so you have that clash between the "cute" animals and bad things going on. There also was a possibility to play a sort of pure beat-em-up game to learn the controls, which I admittedly spent the most time on (because I wanted to beat it, of course). That's a good game in its own right. I also liked the voices, even though the croc hero seemed a bit relaxed while calmly examining items while the house around him was on fire.  (laugh) If there was one thing I had problems with, it was jumping and fighting multiple opponents. (I'll admit to just hitting and not blocking enough - I'm not an expert at action games at all.)

Makes sense! And for fights, using keyboard is recommended (or even better, a gamepad) In case fights become too hard for you, the skip button is there to help.

Looks nice! Do a Streets of Rage 4 mod with Brok, that would be a way to boost the games interest some, 10% to me for the idea  (nod). On a serious note tho. Nice Disney like characters :-D

Good luck with it

Hello AndreasBlack,

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't get a notification. I believe making a character mod would be a lot of work but thanks for the idea, ha ha ^^

I'm pleased to announce that BROK the InvestiGator has won "Best Concept" at the Aggie Awards (from AdventureGamers.com), plus "Best Character", "Best Gameplay" and "Best Concept" from readers. Thank you so much, everyone who voted!

Today it releases on consoles, which means it's now available on Steam, GOG, PS4, PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
(with special features for each, you can use touch screen on Switch for example)
