It's a building model I created with Blender (supposed to be the fortified inn from WH fantasy).
I am mostly annoyed with the lack of specific style, due to the colors and shading- but maybe it is just overall 'realism'.
I'd like it to look more suggestive. How would you go about achieving such an effect?

Overall I like it. Not sure what you mean by "more suggestive." If you mean you want it to have more character then maybe think about who the innkeepers are and what their personalities and habits are, as well as who tends to stay there. What is its history? Then think about how those details affect the building. What
parts would be old and neglected? What would be newly replaced and shiny? What details could suggest who is inside and what has happened here in the past?

Not sure if that's what you were asking for, so I hope it's helpful.  :)

Also unsure by what you mean by "more suggestive", but the first thing that caught my eye is how uniform in colour the tiles are, some variation might be nice.

Yes, I would like it to have more character. But when the attempt is to be very detailed, character is harder to achieve imo.
I think my different scale gfx have some character, due to some distortion with proportions (can't really have the main buildings be massive next to houses) and stylized use of the same color tones  (nod)
