Haha I wish I could make a nice boardgame out of it! But somehow making a videogame (for this genre) turned out to be easier than trying to think of how to handle dialogues, changes of situations and such.

For what it's worth, the non-linear thing, beware of the possibilities the player has because you might end up having to deal with more variables than you thought of. :P

Thank you for the feedback!
It's a little bit of a tedious process, but I actually printed out a (cheap) boardgame version (I had to adapt the mechanics so it's playable this way) to have family and friends try it out and raise any flags they might find whether it be in the story line, dead-ends I might not have seen, etc... It's obviously a big difference with the video game version, but I think that can help while I'm working on the scripting!

Hey everyone :)
I've been working on and off on a little point & click project for a while now and thought it'd be time to share some screenshots with you.

It's a game about a guy who wakes up one day in the middle of a street and can't remember a thing about himself. He quickly realizes that an accident caused him to lose most of his memory, so he starts going around town to try to figure out who he is and what happened.
As you're exploring the town, you discover that most folks there make a living by working for the local movie studios, and even though our character is the one who lost his memory, they all kinda wish they could start from scratch and reinvent themselves.

You'll meet a bunch of people with complex lives and funny dialogues (hopefully!)

I tried to go with an art style that's inspired by games such as Sam & Max, so it's not exactly pixel-art but I like the pixelated style.

There's about 20 different locations and 15 characters.
The progression of the game is meant to not be linear, you can explore differents paths but they all get tied together at the end.

- graphics 85%
- puzzles 70%
- scripting 15%
- music/sound 0%

All feedback is welcome! Thank you for looking :)
