The time has come where I no longer have the energy, time nor interest in continuing work on AGSA, so as of today I'm officially announcing that AGSA is shutting down.
If you've relied on your game being hosted on AGSA it is important that you download your games and find another place to host them!

I will no longer update the database with any new games released effective immediately,
and the service will go offline by the end of the year or when the current library is fully available on archive.org, whichever comes first.

What about MAGSAN?
For now I'll continue releasing a new issue every month, but instead of adding the games to AGSA and linking to those pages,
the newsletter (as you may have noticed in the latest issue) will link to the AGS db page or forum post of the games instead.

Yeah, I'll nudge you sometime during the weekend so I don't just disable ssl and stuff starts breaking

This seems to be caused by some content (forum defaults) being shown as HTTPS

Perhaps we could move the forum to a subdomain without https?
I'm not sure how much sense it makes to use https on the forum anyway due to the big amount of external (non https) images etc likely to be used...

I'll have a look to see if there's anything I can do to improve it server side...

It'd also be interesting to test the db server on speeds, might do with an upgrade.. I should be able to afford the next tier fine so..

Some game pages are taking a really long time to load, not fully sure what is going on here? (been checking server side but it doesn't seem like anything is being overloaded which would cause it to load slow..

Oh, I know how CSS works, I was purely wondering if the pixelated value if supported by any other browsers have any known issues with them .
Hopefully AGA will read this and try it out...

I've not read up on this feature but do you know if any other browsers pick up this CSS property and if any of them have issues?
I agree too that blurred pixel art is not nice, but would this property make non pixel art screenshots look different too?

Worth doing some testing I guess .
