Ooh nice! A chance to practice curvilinear perspective. Here's a quick tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MZbpVWVI7E.

Rosewater is one of the games that I'm most looking forward to right now. It's so nice to see it come together finally :). Congratulations!

Concept: Creamy. I just love the concept of this ;-D! It really is a great idea that you could very well adapt into a small artsy indie game, similar to Gorogoa. Man, it would be cool to see how this would function as a walkable point-and-click game. The negative space could be food for thought.
Playability: RootBound. I like the classic take and the low angle. This would be interesting to see utilized in a game, especially with the easel as such a strong set piece. Good job!
Artistic Execution: Creamy. I think you hit the nail square on the head with this one. It's a very interesting and fun style, and the choices you made with the variety of elements you succeeded to incorporate make it a clear success. I love the contrast between white and colored, the negative space and the framing of the whole piece.

Such a cool theme, and so well-executed entries (nod)!

Yeah, really interesting topic 8-)! I'll see what I can do... :-D

Concept: Creamy. Creamy's piece communicates the theme beautifully and I would very much like to go there on vacation (laugh)!

Playability: newwaveburritos. I think newwaveburritos' piece is simply more ready to be put into a game. Even though the walkable area is limited, I can see a bunch of potential activities going on.

Artistic execution: Creamy. This was a tough one! I often love newwaveburritos' dithered pixel stylings, but there is something really romantic about Creamy's piece. Albeit unfinished, the mediterranean vibe, colors, warmth and expressiveness pull me in. This is the sort of thing that makes me want to play adventure games (see Broken Sword, etc.).

I wasn't able to finish mine for the deadline yesterday. Sorry for asking for an extension :X. Please don't wait on my account! Perhaps my piece ends up qualifying for the next BB theme :).

Could I possibly ask for another one-week extension to the deadline (roll)? I would really like to take part, but it's looking like I wouldn't make it for Wednesday.

I plan on entering this one. I already have a clear idea about what I want to draw, so just now waiting for a good time to start :-D.

Concept: Creamy. I like the idea of human history seen from some other race's lens. Extra points for getting some things wrong , like the common dagger-wielding tattooed T-Rex.
Playability: Hannah_Banana. I think this one is just about ready to be put into a game.
Artistic execution: lorenzo. This is great! I would love to see it colored, especially with there being so much space for the sky. A nice balance between busy and open space.

Side note: This Blitz was definitely fun to follow. I enjoyed the conversations and the fact that it just felt like there was a lot of activity. Good job! More Blitzes like this one! I'll definitely try to find time to take part in the next one.

Concept: Creamy - I think Creamy's one delights me the most, and I see many things associated with the Mediterranean, like the small red Fiat :). I would really love to adventure around in this sort of scene. Lovely!
Playability: newwaveburritos - I almost feel like all three backgrounds are quite balanced when it comes to playability. I think newwaveburritos' one is just a bit more.
Artistic Execution: Creamy - I had to give it to Creamy, since the image feels so inviting to me. The color scheme really speaks to me (in the dead of winter :D) and there's a warmth to it. It's a bit similar to background art in the Runaway series.

Lovely! Definitely going to try to enter this one :). Which Broken Sword is that first screenshot from?

More like MURDERER ALERT :D.

I think Ish said that because sympathy has a negative connotation. It's something you would say when someone's dog died or something. It's like you're sympathizing with them having to wear weird costumes (which aren't really weird, just Japanese) :D.

Haha, perkele that's hilarious :D. Send it to Seiska!

Reminds me of Aphex Twin:

Umm, what? Are you actually suggesting a topic for the blitz here? You know, there is a particular way in which you'll be able to contribute in the deciding of themes of competitions - It's called winning :D. Sorry to squash your noodle, but really dude...
