General Discussion / So I release music now...
Tue 24/10/2023 10:44:39
Yeah, um

It's my first single, woohoo!

"It's Chronic" is out on Spotify, Apple Music and iTunes!

Check it out here:

Link to Spotify

Link to Apple music & iTunes

This is a song that expresses a sliver of how it personally feels like to go through the motions with depression, waiting for the darkness to pass.

If you're a fan of alt rock, emo or anything a little experimental, you may be into this 👌🏽

Thank you for listening if you have, if you will, if you want and have a great day👌🏽

Recorded in Jawbreaker Studio, Brunei Darussalam and;

Produced by Nol K of rock indie band "Hurricane Honey".

Yeah don't feel too bad about it, I myself have 4 ceramic fillings, got them around 14, I get checked by the dentist pretty much annually and I never really needed to do anything to them since (or yet, I'm 32 now). Catching them early and regular upkeep really does prevent them getting worse.

EDIT: And I've always been very particular about making sure to brush my teeth since I was a child, sometimes it's just inevitable, everyone is different and there are places too hard to reach.

This looks gorgeous and I love the premise. I have a long day ahead of me and I can't wait to unwind with this later

Quote from: Stupot on Thu 23/02/2023 20:42:58Waddup, y'all? Anyone working on anything?

So I was working on something but I got too busy with irl stuff as it often goes
This map isn't even finished and I haven't even started re-learning coding.

Alas it seemed a shame to not share what I managed so far, who knows? I might pick it up when my schedule clears up and release it as a short game one day.

I thought it would be fun to do a "demo" of a game that "released" in 1995 or something. It would have been about some fantasy knight who investigates a possible dragon that people have been hearing in some old ruins, only to discover a rebooting futuristic machine and a cryogenically frozen scientist thawing.

Not the most original but I love those kinda stories

Maybe one day it'll meet it's "1995 Christmas release" goal

I saw this and was like "YEAH I COULD TOTALLY DO THIS!" Then realized it was 31st of January...what happened to my concept of time?

Well anyway, break legs to the participants!

I wonder if I ever contributed anything before? I feel like I had planned to but never got around to it. Anyways, here are a few loopable (is that a word?) pieces of music that I wanted to share with you guys, I had planned to make a simple "starter pack" so beginers could have a collection of assets (music, bg, sprites etc) to start giving AGS scripting a try. Started working on it in September, but these days I don't seem to have much time to progress, this is what I ended up with so far:

March of Spring

PromiseHeart

Turn The Key of Fate

I hope the 120 day rule doesn't apply to this thread :undecided:

I had to double check whether or not I had already made a post here, I guess if I did it was erased circa 2012 along with the others.

Playtesting
I'll take out a pen and paper and play through your game, taking note of any bugs, error messages that pop up or any CtD issues. I'm pretty basic that way.

Speech/Talkie Recording

I have been doing amatuer voice acting since around 2005, from Machinima, indie games to audio plays.

For the AGS community, I was the voice of the Revolution Leader and Dave Dell in Lone case 3 and so far (at the time this post was typed) all of the characters in my own games.

I own a Takstar GL 100 USB condenser microphone and use audacity to clean up/edit my audio clips.

Here is my current Demo Reel:

If you are interested in my voice for any of your projects, feel free to send me a private message.

@Hemlock omg that looks so awesome! I haven't played with those kinds of bubbles since I was like 5. Want!
@Haddas the third Blues Brother?!
I haven't posted my pictures here in years! I think an update seems appropriate.

You can clearly see the tape >_>;

This was a fun (actually my first time celebrating) Halloween, I was the mother of a demon baby, hence the 'umbilical cord' hanging out from under my skirt connecting to the little paper mache devil guy. They say Halloween is the time where you can dress as slutty as you like so I went the full monthy, damn that duct tape was painful to put on and rip off.

This one on the other hand is just basically to show off the moustache I grew for the "Movember" thing, where you don't shave for a whole month to support testecular cancer awareness. I kinda ended up looking like my name should be 'Ricky Gonzales" or something XD I might keep it for a while longer, opinions?

Thanks for the tip but...

Spoiler
Astrid does not go back out after I give her the crystal, I googled the verse though and got the padlock number. If this was the bug you mentioned that appears in version 1.3.0.1 then this is the only version I can seem to get, I tried downloading it again but I keep getting version 1.3.0.1

If it won't let you through when it is told to do, you might find something to gain his respekt ...

I'm still pretty stuck, I mean I'm thinking I might either have to...

Spoiler
find something that relates to the Da Vinci Painting and show it to him or I'm somehow supposed to convince the professor woman to come with me into the cave and have an inteligent conversation with him OR get some pot. But I can't seem to do anything with the painting, The professor woman only says "I'm sure you'll know what to do with Sal" and I can't seem to find any signs of pot

Did I skip something?

I have entered Belluci's farm (the cave) and have met the guy (Blue light). How am I supposed to get rid of him?

I have the bible, flashlight, wood cleaner, lighter, string and crystal ball from the necklace, Christmas ornament, GPS and the salt shaker.

Hello,

I'm not new to the forum, but I don't think I have ever properly introduced myself; therefore I am doing it right now.

My real name is Muhammad Idrous Ishaaq ( People use my middle name to call me by). I am 16 years old, people say I'm quite beyond my years, but recently I've been acting slightly childish (I'm probably making up for the lost years). My bithday is on 17th september, I was born in 1991 if you're too lazy to do the math.

I live in Brunei Darussalam, it is situated on Borneo Island; look around the equator and you'll find it. I go to an international private school (Jerudong international, or simply JIS) I am currently in year 12 and studying art, media, drama and IELTS.

I used to like to draw, but eversince I have met that B!t@h Ms. White, I have lost the motivation, the ambition, so to speak the fun. I still draw, but often it feels forced (but I enjoy pixel art, I must be in that phase). I sing in my school's 'Barbershop' and SATB (suprano-alto-Tenor-Base, technically another word for choir) and although most of the songs and/or practises feel a little funny, I enjoy it  because I love singing; I'm a bit insecure about my abilities in that area though.

Eversince year 11, it has been quite difficult to find the time to play games, so I make the time to play them instead (and it proves to be my downfall as my grades are becomming more average). But the genre that I am most fond of is horror. I have played a few adventure games in the past, but my memory of them is very blur. as my evil brother does not like to share much anything of his (but often uses much everything of mine).

In the future I plan to use AGS as a part-time money-making hobby. and so I plan to lean how to make music and a little bit of scripting. I also plan to make good free games (so, look foward to the future, huh?). I'll try not to be over-ambitious and make a series of short games first, then build upwards. My first game Jacob is cr@p in my honest opinion, compared to what other games I plan to create.

I don't know what else to say about me (or where to continue to be exact). Practically what I've been saying is that; I am young but can be mature when required; I can help with art, voice acting, proof reading to actually writting the story. I am also saying that you can expect enjoyable games from me.

You can read the above and tell that I so obviously used an essay outline,(it's embeded into my mind and I am automatically programed to follow it) bad habits are hard to break I guess... I'd give this a 'C-'

I was looking through the old 'Completed games' pages and I saw 'The Tower'. It's quite old so all the download links don't work anymore.

I was wondering if anyone still has that game and could they upload it? I really want to try it.

If the creator is reading this, can you re-upload it please? I'd be very thankful!

Time for a piece of me. The first picture is me at UN day preparing for a freedom parade. There were quite a few people there, though more would have been appropriate, it was for good cause after all :)

Notice, that wearing that scarf with that jacket has got me lots of meaningful looks from men. For some reason I'm not that worried though :)

You smiling like that, and looking at the rainbow flag, it's no wonder you got some looks from men.

1) you're cute

2) you got style? (need more examples to really know, metrosexual?)

3) this picture looks more like you in a gay pride parade rather than freedom (the 'peace' words on that flag is blocked and at first glance looks like 'P-flag')

At least you know you look good 6_-

wow, if one of my games ever get mentioned in a public magazine, I'd get so excited! I'd scream at the top of my lungs till my dad would beat me up with something hard (and possibly metal) just to shut me up...AND FAIL!

...you get the idea...OwO

This is a part of a picture of me...it was for my art exam, I posed in the nude.

Here I was just playing around with the sunlight...this is a fairly old picture...I look older when I was younger...?

me after I shaved my head...I had dyed it red earlier and my dad was furious; good thing my hair grows quickly!

again playing around with sunlight..."go into the light" "go into the light!"
