Yes, you're right.

I knew that screenshot might be a bit too obvious but I figured it was only a matter of time before someone guessed it based on the actress anyway.

Here's the final screenshot I took, just for fun:

It isn't a comedy.

No it isn't. I'm not sure whether going through Regina Hall's filmography is in-keeping with the spirit of the game  ::)  ;D

I'm impressed by your knowledge of Scary Movie actresses. But no, it's not from that franchise.

Manhunter.

You're right, that was easy.

I use pidgin, (http://www.pidgin.im/) and I've also used Digsby before, (http://www.digsby.com). Both are very good and allow you to sign in with MSN credentials.

I use Pidgin as well, and I find it's worked better for me than Digsby.

Yeah... I don't know. Digsby is nice but I had to move away from it when I started using Linux more. There are some things in Digsby I wish Pidgin did but for basic operations, they're pretty much the same.

I'm also enough of a nerd to have used Finch on occasion.

I'm seriously tearing my hair out over this one. It seems so familiar but I have no idea what it is.

I have done that before but only by accident! I have no idea how to reproduce it!  :-\

I want a full length game with good artwork (LucasArts-esque or better) and voice acting. Also, it must be free.

Depending on your definition of "full length", you're unlikely to get all of that in one game. Especially when you specify that it should be free.

I don't think such a service exists anymore. I know what you mean, but I think mail.com is the closest available right now.

Either that or a paid for service, such as this.

I'd just like to point out that playing the games chronologically, (as they were created), allows you to witness the changes in the town - how new locations are shoehorned inbetween buildings that were previously right next to eachother for instance. It's as if they've always been there and you just hadn't noticed them until they were important.

A totally unexpected joy.  ;D

It isn't "proud Aryan", it's "proud Arianne".  ;)

EDIT: I've just realised that you also misheard the Simpson's quote. It's "the ancient art of padding", (i.e. padding a bra).

I had no idea there was a website where someone has transcribed every single Simpsons episode!

EDIT2: I just reread this thread and realised nobody ever answered the original question. Here's a website for you, Stupot; hope it helps.

I would say that Hooky McPegleg should be #8.

Also, would it not be sensible to advocate playing Apocalypse Meow directly after Kittens and Cacti? I'm only assuming that it follows directly on from events in the first two parts of the trilogy since it ends on a cliffhanger, (although I'm yet to play it).

jetxl has already recorded walkthroughs of some of the Early games. I think it would be a great idea to have walkthroughs of all the canon games, so that people can get a feel for the RON universe without having to spend days playing each and every game.

Of the canon games, I could only find video walkthroughs of Lunchtime of the Damned and Vengeance of the Chicken; I didn't need a video for I Spy since it has been remade and actually works properly on my machine. Return of Die Vie Ess doesn't work and I can't find a video walkthrough of it, but after that I have had great success in actually getting them to play! I'm on Kittens and Cacti at the moment.

One thing I've noticed in playing through the ones you labelled as "canon" is that there might be one or two in the wrong order. I say this because I noticed Michael Gower is referred to as "the mayor" in Paranormal Investigation and I Spy 2 but he seems only to become mayor in Hooky McPegleg, Pirate Postman.

Overall I'm enjoying the series, with The Repossessor being my current favourite.  ;D

The newest version of FF3, (3.1.0.9), fixes the problem to some degree. It's not perfect but it's better than it was.

It's because it, (and FF3), use a bilinear filter on upscaled images. This is fine for 99% of the time but for pixel art it sucks.

I'm not aware of a reliable solution at present.
