AGA, I didn't meant to pressure you in any form, you do a lot already. I think you do an amazing job keeping this forum going, web maintenance is hard and the internet is an agressive place. Slow is always better than burnout. Take your time.

Oh yeah, no pressure, don't worry.  Just thought I'd may as well give an update.

tampie85's redesign is going ahead, albeit slowly.  She's given me all the designs we need, I'm just gradually working through the implementation.  I work in development all day though, so my energy for it in my free time can be limited!

Sorry about that, there was a gap in the rewrite logic for games with 'other' links.  Should work now.

Thanks! I wondered about that one. It shows up in search with ratings and descriptions, so perhaps it was deleted by the authors? I'm thankful there are traces, though, or else I wouldn't have known what to look for elsewhere.

Whoops, that's actually a bug.  It shouldn't be in the search results, as the game has been disabled for whatever reason (usually at the author's request).  I've fixed the bug, so it's no longer visible.

My attempt to go on a small Indy-spree was a bit more cumbersome as many links were missing in the database.

I'm not sure this is the right place to post this, but when I search my games on the games page, there's a game that doesn't get listed.

No matter if I type Sandra or Sandra T. Almeida it only shows on the Quick list below the search box, but as as soon as I hit enter or the button to search and get my list, this game isn't listed. Which is odd. 

On another note, entering my nickname on the search, shows a bunch of game where I'm not the author, just a collaborator (like beta tester and the likes)... still the above game is also not shown.

I've merged the two, and hidden the newer entry.

The earlier of the two says it's a beta version.  We do sometimes end up with separate entries for a demo and its full game too.  I'll have a think about how to combine the two.

I've also trawled through various sites and archives to find the majority of the missing release dates.  There should only be a handful left now, but those will probably have to remain unknown forever.

Completely random: I just learned that AGS was already around in the seventies! 
There are a couple of games with a realese date of 1. Jan 1970 - obviously an automately generated date for games where no actual date was available. It would probably make more sense to change this to "Relese Date: not available" or something, but I doubt anyone pays that much attention to it.
Edit: Looking a bit closer, in the All Games List, these games have as their relesed date: "unknown", but on the individual games pages it's 1. Jan 1970.

Happy new year!  The details should now all be visible, and I fixed the unknown dates on the main game entries.

Unknown dates were showing as 01/01/1970 because we store dates as Unix time (the number of seconds that have elapsed since the date mentioned).  The database column defaults to 0 if no date is added, so...  Dates are now added automatically of course, this is just games that were imported from an older version of the site.

Would it be possible to get the same sorting features and details for the Fewer than Five People Have Rated and Games No One Has Rated lists as the All Games List already has? Like Author, Release Date (that's the one I really want), Panel Rating.
(I know: In the Next Version^tm, right?  )

It seems Santa came early this year.
