You could try MOHO.

Ohwell...it appears it is called Anime Studio now. Should still be a breeze to work with, though. I still have an ancient copy of it.

It costs moneys, but it has a free evaluation (which I think leaves a watermark :( )

I think it is because it is relatively easy to extrapolate the binary from a hexadecimal number, but it is much shorter. So instead of typing:

1101010100010001

I'd just say D511.

Whereas if I had said "Location 54,545", it would be understood, but harder to convert that back to binary.

Happy Birthday, wherever you are, BruisedWeasel.
You weird, weird person.

I propose we start a movement to do the "Palm Out" or "All fingers towards the camera" sign, like the one your daughter is doing in some of those pictures. It is very close to the Pakistani gesture for "I curse you", but it could still work! It is like a magician casting a spell :D.

Jonathan Coulton did a song about Portal?!

IS IT FREE?!

Hahaha...it is way more awesome than that. It is a "No Smoking" tie.

And thanks for all the carmpliments, it is actually in somewhat worse shape than it looks. Barely used it twice since I got it.

I had to peddle my work at the job fair today. You can see me being all frustrated and sweaty at the fact that the only people coming to our stall were junior students asking if our gesture recognition software recognised the flipping of the bird, or random people asking if me and my project mate were brothers and why we had Osama Bin Laden's trademark hand gesture on our poster.
Yeah, I was all frustrated and sweaty. It was hot. it was outdoors. You can see my uncouth babarism represented by the salt deposits on my sleeve from all the wiping off the sweat.

And to balance off the grumpiness, a car I recently acquired:

Interesting use of this thread :D.

And no,  it is just you.

Also (despite my use of this thread not being successful before), does anyone remember this show?
It seemed to have several "skits" in each episode, and I remember one of them being this kid selling all sorts of weird, nasty stuff on the street, calling out the names (stuff like scabs and acne in jars). And it also had something to do with a TV on in a dark room. Another sketch involved this guy helping out this group of people on some island, who thought their noses were too big, but then he told them to not play checkers in the rain, so that their sweaters would not shrink.

Oh dear. You've caught me out. And all this time, I thought that if I wore glasses (like Clark Kent), nobody would recognise me:

Says who? :D

You're all just jealous of my flashy purple suit! ADMIT IT!
#334
I had to go out somewhere today. I thought I better be prepared, just in case. So I wore this:

Hey, it works well with my pin-striped mob-boss suit. But if you no likey, I've got this for you, Tuomas:

Clouseau styled pinstripes instead!

And dualnames...my sheriff hat is this one :D :

#336
Yes, it IS a cool hat.

...I wonder how it got there?
Anyhow, good to have it back now.
#337
Nope, still don't know :(.

I saw it some time between 1999 and 2003, I think. It was a colour movie, seemed on of those "good quality" colour movies (ie. made at least in the 80s or later).
#339
I...don't think so. Are you talking about "The Quick and the Dead"? Because DiCaprio doesn't seem to be a villainous character in that, and it only seems to be 107 minutes long.

I have use for this thread, so I dredged it up!

I'm trying to remember the title of this movie I saw, and I'd google it, but I wouldn't know which words to use to search for it.

I think it was some sort of TV-movie or TV-miniseries or something, because I remember watching it on TV over a period of a few weeks. It was a cowboy western, and involved a teenager kid who dressed in black and did remarkably violent things (clichéd, right? :D). I specifically remember his walking ominously into someone's house (or out of it?) with a hangman's rope. It also had this "old adventurer past his prime" character who had to have his leg chopped off at some point in the movie.

Sorry I couldn't be any more specific. If someone knows of it, I'd appreciate telling me!
