Found a demo (1 hour trial) of Al Emmo on their website:

I might also still have Colin Simpson leaves employment on my other pc which I might post at some point.

I recommend Progzmax  ;)

You don't ever have to unwrap a highpoly for texture baking. Often a highpoly is made first, then a lowpoly is made based of the highpoly. You then unwrap the lowpoly. But it doesn't really matter when you do this. Just make sure you have it unwrapped when you start baking. Also you are going to want to have as little  UV stretching as possible to get the best results.

Does anyone know of a program that gives a proper alarm when the laptop battery is low? Vista doesn't seem to do anything.

Bump and normal maps...

I made you a little image

Not sure if it's clear so I'll try to explain.

Bump maps can only define depth with 2 things. It's either lower or higher. Usually pure white is the highest point and pure black the lowest.

Normal maps can define depth from more sides.

I hope that makes sense lol.

Cubemaps...

Cubemap entities are appearently used in Source to give materials (especially refections) a more proper specularity.

I wonder why there isn't just a Specular channel. Oh well not every engine is as cool as Unreal engine  :=
