Inspired by Mandle's recent entry I'm also giving you a cropped image from an AGS game:

Shame on all of you!

Hehe Power Nap!  :-D

Ah okay.  Well all the best with your game either way, I think both of Mandle's games use a pretty simple system because they were created for MAGS so he didn't have much time to spend on creating anything complex, I'm not sure about the other two games.

I found these:

https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/game/693-dangerous-lands-rpg-strategy-/

Mandle has made 2 RPG games for MAGS that I can remember:

https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/game/2118-pickpocket-rpg/
https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/game/2262-rat-playing-game/

There is this one if you speak French!

(The database contains an English version but the link is broken)

I'm pretty sure there are more but that should keep you busy for a while!  ;)

Hi! If I may ask, is there any games made with AGS that have a RPG battle system? I think I saw one but I forgot  the name..  :-D
Thank you!

This one maybe?

Thanks Lorenzo!  All shall be revealed in good time...

In the meantime I have a request - if anyone bought the game on Itch and left a review, now that you have your Steam copy would you mind awfully posting a review on Steam as well? Sorry to be a pain but it's really difficult for small indies to get noticed and most often if you don't ask you don't get!   ;)

It's here!!!  ;-D ;-D ;-D ;-D ;-D ;-D ;-D ;-D

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1298280/Captain_Disaster_in_Death_Has_A_Million_Stomping_Boots/

If you bought the game on Itch you will be able to claim a Steam key there as well, but please bear with me while I get this sorted out - I'll publish a devlog on Itch when it's ready.

Anyone who's been my patron for 6 months or more will be sent a complimentary key on Patreon.

Anyone involved in testing / voice acting etc, if you would like a complimentary Steam key please PM me here.

Also if anyone wants to hear me waffle about game design and stuff, my interview with AdventureGamePodcast is now out:

Oh wow I love your game already!!!  Looks exactly like my sort of game.  ;-D  That first screenshot is a thing of beauty.

All the best with development.

Listening to Duran Duran at the moment, I like most of their songs but two stand out to me.

Ordinary World is just about perfect in every way - the music, lyrics, vocals are all absolutely superb, and the section from 2:38-3:04 gives me goosebumps.  It manages to be hauntingly painful whilst determinedly optimistic at the same time.

I just don't have any words for Come Undone that would come close to doing it justice.

Yes!  That was some fast recognition there.  ;)

Hurrah!

That was a tough one.

Let's see how quickly this goes... it's probably quite easy but I've given you only part of the screenshot so the main character isn't in it, and taken a name out of the speech bubble...

I don't want to kill the thread off

I doubt you could. It always comes back, even after months of laying dead and rotting. We tried shooting it in the head. We tried the stake through the heart...

NOTHING WILL KILL IT!!!

True enough.  It has a life of its own..

In the meantime, because I think it was vaguely the right time period, I'm going to guess at Tiger Moth?

EDIT - ah scratch that just looked it up, only produced from the 1930s.

Where's the Biggles Compendium I had when I was a kid?  I bet the right plane is in there somewhere!!

I don't want to kill the thread off, so here is a little tip: it's a Finnish shareware game and it's named after a type of a plane used in the years of WW1.

Ugh now you're testing my knowledge of WWI aircraft?

Sopwith Camel?

It's an Amiga strategy game, though.

In that case... (waits for Atavismus to get it the moment he sees it)!  :-D
