Europe at war?

Thanks :)
I  ended up coding the function last night, and even though it's not pixel perfect (I think) it works good enough for what I need it to do.

But thanks anyway, saved and stored for if it turns out I need the PP perfect. :-D

Sorry to dig this thread out of the dead, but does anyone have a link to this module?
Was about to sit and try to code just this, when I thought I should check the forum first for a "how to"...

Anyway, the links on the first page are dead. :~(

If this turns out to be an advanced question, please move it to the appropriate forum.

Is there anyway to play a video inside AGS as non-blocking?

Reason I ask, is because I need to have a video playing with muted audio, so I can use the game's music (can be changed by the player at anytime!).

I want the video running in the background non-blocking, so that I can add characters/narrator speech+text talking on the foreground. You could say "add it to the video", but again, the player can change the music at will in game, and I want the music to change, so sound in video needs to play muted.

I could import the frames into the project... but the intro video has currently 900 frames, and I have at least 2 more in mind. I'm afraid that it might become too heavy?
Another way would be to render the sprites and create the animations with views and the Tween module, which is probably what I'll end up doing if the non-blocking video doesn't work.

@CW or other code wizards: Assuming the video can't be played non-blocking atm, would it be possible/easy to make it possible to add "eNoBlock" to the video play options? Just wondering. (roll)

EDIT: I just found out this can be done using the AGS Theora Plugin. :-D

EDIT 2: SOLVED: Post #2 on this thread https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?msg=636657112

uhm... I have a GOG account, never paid a "penny" or was asked to give my credit card info. (Only reason I got it was cause a friend bought me some games on GOG... so I had to create the account and claim the games (roll) ).
So technically, you can have a free account and get free games. ;)

I have a feeling of having played that game, but can't find the name. :-\

@Danvzare: Think the point was exactly that, it's not so much that you reach the end, it's what you did with the life and how you managed to reach old age (assuming you reached that far. (laugh) ).

Yeah, I had actually found it some minutes later after I posted it, while reading this (http://www.stuff.tv/my/features/25-best-football-games-ever)... but was too lazy to come and edit it, again. (laugh)

Nah... now I have to think of something... bbl ;)

FIFA, the spectrum edition? (roll)

Can't remember ever owning a footie for the spectrum. can't even remember being remotely interested in a footie game, even if my brother was.

EDIT: After a 5 second google for "football zx spectrum" I got the answer... and funny enough the name of the game tells me so much more than the actual screen. So yeah, we did had that one. (laugh) And I remember having Kick Off too!

So--- it's ...err... Match day?

EDIT 2: Or maybe not... those players look more like children/caricatures than real people. ???

Yeah, playing it on my tablet (though using ScummVM and original version). Figures that when someone posts something I know, I always come too late to the party. (laugh)
