No way I could pull this off, let alone pull it off perfectly.  But good luck to those who do try it.

Also, I've been thinking with others who had gone on before... somewhere in this forum we should have an "AGS-er Memorial Wall" to commemorate those who shuffled off the mortal coil.

Quote from: bicilotti on Mon 14/08/2023 21:31:28I did not know Slasher very well. The sheer amount of games listed in his profile — eighty-seven! — and the kind words in this thread show how he valued the community and the commuinity valued him back.

87 games?!  8-0  Dang!

This makes his passing even more devastating.  To think how much more he could've accomplished, had he had more time in this world...

Crap!  Another great lost.

Good, we got a competition finally come voting time.  Looking forward to where this goes.

Kinda gives the Gabriel Knight vibes.  Sweet work so far!

I had one idea for if, hypothetically, I were to take part in it.

Maybe it's the last object of a particular material, and a scientist needs to find out what the chemical makeup of that material is so he/she could make that material again and the particular craft can be brought back to prominence.

Anyway, good luck to everyone taking part in this.

Um, when's the due date?  I think we kinda forgot to include when the contest ends.

Crap!  I... had no idea.

He will be dearly missed.

Congrats to RootBound!

Hmm, hitboxes might come in handy for Quest for Glory style games too.  Might have to consider this.

I briefly saw a playthrough of this on Future Vintage Gaming on YouTube.

Just the first few sightings of the Veiled Lady alone had me thinking "Where's our paranormal hero Trilby when you need him?"

Anyway, hats off to this game's creator.

Aww, you didn't include the scene from QG4 where Toby sacrificed himself to bring Tanya back to life.

Still, quite an intense topic, for sure.

So tell me have you heard... about the bird?

Anyway, good luck to all those entering.
#35
Aww, no Wraiths from Quest for Glory IV?

Anyhow, good luck to everyone entering.

Recruitment / Re: Offer Your Services!

I'll probably post again once I have a "sample" or two, but I'm considering entering the world of freelance copywriting, and especially copywriting for games (AGS or otherwise).

Again, I'll post again once I have something that can be used as a sample, but I figured I'd offer that service in the near future.

We encourage you to make a Let's Play in the future then:) We will watch it with pleasure!

Sure, hopefully there's a walkthrough to help me play it before making a video.  I kinda have this mindset of "know before you go", so to speak.

Wow!  For a non-AGS adventure game, this looks really cool.

Figured I'd help get the word out via my WordPress blog.  Good luck with getting this completed--I'd love to see someone do an LP of this.  Maybe even someday try it out myself.

So for the creepypasta contest, maybe whoever starts it picks out one of the games in the AGS library (preferably one with a good rating) for the "theme".
#40
Thanks... the creepypasta could be about an AGS game that gets, well, spooky on the player.

Even those that are not horror genre get all spoopy and do weird stuff.  Could be all just within the game, or may even include a portion where it spills out in the real world (for instance, giving that player nightmares long after, or maybe his body freezes up--except for his head and arms--and he MUST beat the game in order to escape the grasp... stuff like that).
