Speaking of cars some more, it grinds my gears that some people have their headlights on when it's a bright and sunny morning, and some people don't put their headlights on when it's a dark and gloomy evening! >:(

I even suspect it might be the same backwards people.

I can't really think of anything that Frozen did that other Disney/Pixar movies haven't done before.
It demonstrated that family love, is another form of love. That's all it did differently. And even I'll admit I enjoyed that. :-D

I'll take your word for it, but I'm still not watching Cars 2 (or Cars)
Speaking of Cars, I really wish that they would make a prequel Cars movie. I want to see a rusty Lightning McQueen trying to get his start as a racing car!
It's clearly hinted at in the first movie. I think it could actually make a decent movie.

Speaking of Zootopia - which I also enjoyed - did anyone feel it seemed more about sexism than racism, despite there being many obvious opportunities to deal with racism?
I enjoyed Zootopia too. Great film. Personally, I didn't feel as though it was a perfect analog for racism either. Especially with the predators which were not only the minority, but also the leaders and ones who get all the opportunities. And it seemed both predators and prey were equally speciesist to each other. So personally, I think they just wanted to create a realistic world of anthropomorphic animals.

Also, am I the only one who thinks "Let it go" should be sung as "Let it snow"?

Ah, I've seen that game before.
I'm still not sure if it's a serious game or an attempt at satire. Either way, talk about the second gayest game I've ever seen.

What grinds my gears is that Frozen got ridiculously popular, yet almost no one ever mentions Wreck-It Ralph, despite the latter being a much better film in my opinion. So much better in fact, that it's actually getting a sequel! >:(

I remember watching Princess Mononoke. I can't remember how old I was. Probably around twelve. It was on TV in Japanese, and had subtitles.
I could barely follow the film (not because it was subtitled, I could read very well), so yeah, like Mandle says, way too complex of a plot for kids.

I think the ppl rating looked at it and said "Cartoon movie... it's for kids!"... but they never even saw 5 minutes of it! >:(
That annoys me so much. I mean, no one would look at South Park and say that!
And if you look at some really old cartoons, like the original Felix the Cat shorts, they're more adult themed than even South Park!

It grinds my gears that animated movies still are considered dumb kiddie entertainment by the large masses.
Never mind that there are several good animated films out there which tackle difficult subjects in a more mature and artful way than most live-action movies,
the notion that animated is automatically kid-friendly have most likely made innocent kids suffer as well.

I have already read about traumatized kids being dragged out of theaters showing Sausage Party... 8-0
I can't agree with this enough!
That really grinds my gears as well. >:(

If this otherwise perfect game could be rereleased by a fan/hacker which fixed all the AI bugs, made the opponents smarter instead of just giving them impossible buffs per difficultly level, and fixed the travesty of air units not being able to overfly enemy units without attacking them...

It could be the greatest simulation game ever made...
Isn't that what Freeciv is?

People who say "The US is a republic, not a democracy." ONE DOES NOT PRECLUDE THE OTHER! THE US IS CLEARLY BOTH!
I thought to be a democracy, you needed a republic? ???

I've never heard of Hall of Light, but thanks for pointing me towards it. :-D
Maybe I might finally be able to find out the name of those few Amiga games I have vague memories of.

Please check the correct year next time, I searched every 1995 AGA game on Lemon Amiga for this one
I searched every 1995 game, and every Ocean game. So I know what you mean.
I only managed to find it by looking up 1996 and Team17.

I'll let someone else take my turn.

Is it that film where the parents are only allowed one baby, but since their first baby died, they had another, but then they were caught and were put into a prison.
I think it's name was Fortress.

EDIT: Damn, Ben beat me to it as I wrote this. (laugh)

Damn, that wasn't the film I was thinking of.
It took me all night, but I finally remembered the film I was thinking of. It was The Seeker: The Dark is Rising.
Guess I was wrong though. :)

That looks really familiar, and I think I might know which film it is... but I can't remember the title, and thus can't make that guess. :(

The film I'm thinking about was called something along the lines of The Chronicler, or The Keeper, or something like that.
And the main character was a teenage boy who looked very much like a girl to me.

But even if I knew the name, I'm not sure if my guess would be correct.

I forgot about this thread. How did that happen?
Hmm... roughly 64 colours, European, not made for SNES or Megadrive, put up by Atavismus.
I'm going to guess that it's an Amiga game.

A quick search on LemonAmiga reveals... nothing.

Yep, I've still got no clue.
