Beautiful background!

Indeed. That's a gorgeous piece of artwork. I can't stress that enough.  8-0

Count Duckular?

They were such bad artists back then, they drew dogs like horses.  (laugh)
Even though that's clearly a joke, it's actually surprisingly not that far from the truth. As the "leopards" on coats of arms, look more like lions.

What did you find out, when you looked into the creator and the history of the game (s) ?
Please keep in mind that this is all from memory.

I learnt that he originally made the first game in a week (maybe a few weeks) as a joke, because everyone was apparently starting AGI games and not finishing them. So he was going to make the first ever completed AGI fan game.
It got popular, which in turn inspired him to make a sequel and actually put effort into it. Which in turn led to him falling into the same trap as all of those unfinished games. Releasing a demo and forgetting about it. Apparently he considered his girlfriend his "muse" which kept him going in making the game. But relationships end, which in turn made him lose all motivation. But then he got another girlfriend and therefore a new muse, and finished the game.
He then had a plan to remake the original game (I think using AGS in a VGA SCI type of style) and putting in some additional scenes to better explain some of the plot elements of the second game. After remaking the first game he would then make the third and final game, with the hope that maybe someone else would remake the second game.
But the second game wasn't as popular, which in turn made him lose his motivation. I think he might have lost his second "muse" as well. And that's kinda where it ends.
I think he did some artwork for a Space Quest fan remake. And I'm certain he made a few sprites for his Fuck Quest remake. But that's about it.

There was a sequel? I'm sure that guy loves that anyone Googling his name gets to see his raunchy infamy. (laugh) I bet that's interrupted more than one job interview.
It's not his real name. It was a username someone gave him a long time ago, which just kind of stuck. The username is actually a joke in of itself, it can be shortened to Dick Eter... get it?
...
After I played the game, I researched everything I could about the guy including the story behind the games.

I know I'm years behind as these games came out a very long time ago, but I am hoping someone out here in the community has either played them or knows of a site where I can get the walkthroughs for them with points lists. I've tried to google for them and get nothing and Richard's site is no longer active from what I've unable to find. Thanks everyone for taking the time to at least read this and if you can help, Thank you in advance.
I played them a long time ago (don't judge). But I can't remember any solutions. I do remember how I managed to solve some of the more obscure puzzles though.
I got an AGI editor, opened the games up in it, and looked at what commands were available in each room. I hope that helps.

“Track and Trace”

NO! It’s not called Track-and-Bloody-Trace! It’s “Test and Trace”! A different thing entirely. If one more IDIOT calls it Track and Trace, unless you’ve just entered a 12-digit string into a box on the Royal Mail website, I swear I’m going to go postal.

If you think I'm going to start calling it "Test and Trace", then you've got another think coming.
...
Get it?
I just referred to my own somewhat related pet-peeve while talking about Stupot's.  :-D
...
Ok, forget it. I don't think anyone is going to get it.  :~(

Also, what is test and trace?
I only know about the whole 12-digit thing that you put into the Royal Mail website. Then again, I don't send and receive many packages, so...  :-\

It was my understanding that throw pillows go on beds, while cushions go on sofas.
I suppose it's like Magma and Lava. They're the same thing, just in different places.

Throw pillows. Useless junk that make it impossible to actually use a bed or sofa for its intended purpose. The best you can do is just move them off whenever the furniture is in use, either taking up storage space somewhere or making a pile on a chair, or dropped on the floor (tracking dirt back into the bed/sofa when they're put back). They are the coronavirus of home decoration. If I see that someone has a bunch of throw pillows in their house, it instantly makes me think less of them.
They do have two uses though.
The first and most important, is as a tray. They're perfect for putting that hot plate onto, instead of straight onto your lap, while you watch that film on TV.
The second is that they give you something to lay your head on when you go to lay down. Whether it's because you're feeling tired or ill, you can easily prop your head up without having to go get a pillow from elsewhere.

So at most, I think a home should have two, maybe three throw pillows. And only on the sofa.
If you insist on putting them on a bed though, or owning loads of them, I recommend rethinking your life choices.  (nod)

Ha ha! That cat one is brilliant!  (laugh)
I'm pretty sure a cat would split like that if it could. As a matter of fact, I'm not entirely convinced that they can't.

Have you ever heard the high pitched squealing of an old tube television?
Just make it twenty times louder and have it rapidly turn on and off.

How could these not violate noise laws? That's crazy. I hope I never live around anyone with such little consideration for others.
Easy. The majority of people don't hear it, so it doesn't violate any noise laws.

Quote from: Blondbraid on Sun 19/04/2020 22:09:32
Exactly, plus that's gotta violate age-based discrimination laws.
I hope so. But I'm not sure if there are any such laws in my country.  ???
Then again, I'm no lawyer.

Here's something that grinds my gears.
Very high-pitched devices, used for scaring away cats or sometimes used in shops to "detract" youths.
Because I can hear those things, and they're nauseating!

What do they sound like?

Uncharted Collection and Journey are free on PSN right now.
So if you have a PS4 and don't have those games, now is a good time to get them.  :-D

Yep, Clock Tower Ghost Head to be exact. (Or Clock Tower 2 if you want the localized name.)
Your turn.  :-D

Hey, I know that character! That's Roland!
I recognize him as the mascot of Roland Radio.  :-D
And according to that site he's from... either Roland in Space or Roland in Time.
Considering the screenshot, I'm going to guess that it's Roland in Time.
