And a question: Are there any genres nobody here likes, meaning I should refrain from posting these?
I don't think anyone here likes adventure games, so you should avoid those. (laugh)
In all seriousness though, I doubt there's any genres that everybody here dislikes, so just keep posting any free games you find. :)

Also, Ziggurat is currently free on GOG.com. Just go to the homepage and you should find it on the banner at the top.

To be that guy. Bulbasaur = many plants come in the form of bulbs. See here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulb A -saur suffix is used here to mean a dinosaur, which is to say an extinct reptile. So there we have it.
But it's not called Bulbasaur in Japanese. After all, Venonat is based on a mite, not a gnat. The English translations of Pokemon names are usually quite meaningless when determining what a Pokemon is based on (sometimes the original names are equally meaningless).

"He is a Bulbasaur! Duh!"
Best answer I've ever read for this question. :-D

What even is Bulbasaur? He's like a cross between a tortoise, a toad, a plant, and a dinosaur or some kind.
I always figured he was a plant tortoise, because of the bulb on his back, but after all these years, I'm still not sure. ???

@Danvzare Having played the game should be a prerequisite to suggesting it.
That sounds fair. Although I did get a pretty decent distance in the game.

The only other game that comes to mind for PotM is "Maniac Mansion Mania - Episode 53 - The Klaus strikes back"
My blurb for that would be "Don't let the two cups fool you, this is an underrated classic. A hilarious game where you must get revenge, but karma keeps getting in your way."
I have completed that game... twice in fact. :-D

I guess I should finally get around to completing Bog's game now. (laugh)

So, you are suggesting a game you never completed without providing a blurb for pick of the month?
Yep pretty much. :-D

I've never suggested a game for a pick of the month before, so I have no idea how the process goes. I just saw that no one was suggesting anything, and wanted to help.
Feel free to ignore it, but how's this for a blurb:
"Bog's Adventures in the Underworld can be summarised in three words, funny but difficult. A charming game that was made twelve years ago, and has managed to keep its charm despite its age."

It's already May and we need a new pick!
Bog's Adventures in the Underworld?
I remember it was one of the first AGS games I ever played. I got stuck though and never completed it.
