Do you remember the ancient times when there was no dropbox, no flash drives, no CD-R's? I think I still have a few stories and graphics saved on good ol' 3,5 floppies, buried somewhere in the depths of the bottom shelf. I back up since my teenage, pre-internet days, as often as I can (be bothered to). I've lost sensible data to disk failures, short circuits, viruses, rootkits even (oh, the things that can happen while browsing for refernce on how to draw human eye-lashes up close!), all that. With game folders, I tend to keep copies of at least five pre-release backups, just to be safe. And I'm still kicking myself for throwing out most of the vast collection of my 1991-1999 doodlings back in 2005 -- thinking "Oh, I don't care for these! I will never draw in my life again! NEVARRR!"

And you should invite Ponch. He's your number one fan. And then, next week, the next obvious, natural and logical step would be to invite your Biggest Fan No 2!

There's plenty of somewhat disturbed birds in there, too. But Selmiak's closer -- the title contains edible plants.

Yeah, it was a fun game. I liked the art style and how well it went with the setting -- and I'd recognize those chubby guys everywhere.

Gribbler: Dude! Those games rocked -- and Solbrain was by far my favorite. Also, if you ever had a C-64, you'd really appreciate the console's negligible loading times.

Awww damn! I actually put this thread on my Notify list never to miss an update -- not to mention I pm'ed Benjamin to nag and complain about the lack of Deliverants. To make the waiting less painful I'm meanwhile listening to all the podcasts all over again.

Welcome -- though truly I'm not the one who should be doing the welcoming part, it seems you've been around longer than I have (although by mere months -- I found AGS via ThreeOhFour's games in the spring of 2010). Anyway, nice to have you here, looks like you'll be a valuable addition to our friendly bunch.
