What actually happened to [...] 'Daemons in the Attic'?

It turned into a RAM Ghost. Seriously, I have huge folders of assets and roughly a dozen builds. I like to think of it as the demo that made me understand AGS, but it's really not been in active development for... months.

I'd really like to know if The Forgotten Element is officially, ultimatively, absolutely dead. There never was an announcement that it was cancelled and the production values were really high; anyone here knowing more than me?

Oh! Yes, that is a good one. Very, very dark, but worth owning.

I can also only recommend you get SystemShock 2. It... well, the graphics have not aged very well, but in terms of atmosphere and replayability, it is a must have. Also not too much of a "typical frenzied FPS", more like Thief with guns.

That's funny. I'm brooding over some sprites and have Psycho Circus by KISS in teh backgrounds. Circus surely comes to town.

Has anyone heard/experienced EXE's not loading with Win 7, particularly large ones (up to 1gb)

I had that with the Fallout3 expansions. Their exe is huge (over 1 Gig actually) and the system "froze" when I ran them.
I chalked it up to the DVD Drive and copied the file to disk to run it from there- again, system froze: but after a good ten minutes the file WAS executed.
Win7 on a 2.4 Dualcore with 4Gig of RAM.
