No. It's not a brawler.
And you indeed control that plane.
And and that is indeed the plane in After Burner.
But the game is not After Burner.
And before you try to reply After Burner II, After Burner III, ABC (After Burner Climax) or whatever, no, it is not an iteration of the After Burner series.
It's also an official arcade game, not a fan game or an indie game.

Speed on a train. Reminds me of the first Mission Impossible movie.

That dinosaurus photo reminds me of some news I read earlier.

Maybe it is an inspiration for (not) making a game based on this. :=

Aw, thanks a lot!
Who would have thought of that?
This is completely against logic though, that you'll have to attempt to log in to access stuff without logging in.
This gives more proof that Twitter is broken.

I don't know, but I think Twitter was already ruining itself since it tried to enforce people to log in just to read tweets.

I never have a Twitter account, and I had been reading tweets from people without problems, until recently, when just scrolling down a bit in someone's site would generate a pop-up asking me to log in and you cannot make it go away. Not long before, this measure could be defeated by just browsing the site in a incognito Window, but this is no longer the case now.

I know those of you who already have a Twitter account would not notice this and would not even care about it, and I am not saying I wouldn't register for an account either. I just thought it's not time yet. However, all those stupid stuff happening recently (forcing me to register to read stuff) just discouraged me to register for an account now, ever.

That a stupid evil overlord an inconsiderate billionaire buying the whole thing and pushing it towards a cliff just added oil to a dumpster fire. Not to mentioned the small incident when another billionaire former president of some third-world country := had attempted to ruin it already a bit earlier, and I sometimes imagine what would happen if this billionaire former president bought the thing instead of that other one who manufactured explosive electric cars to go to space. Who will win as a worse boss? Let's pick up the fight!

I don't even know whether this is a forum option or the browser as I never had this problem here, but anyway so Wiki login is broken ATM.

eh... What is TFA? Google is not helpful to me...

I just visited the Wiki and found that I was no longer logged in.
When I click "log in" from the Wiki I was brought back to the forums, where I had already logged in.

And I had already tried logging out of the forums and relogged in. Still could not log in the Wiki.

Thank you!

I haven't checked extensively, but maybe there is an option to change it? (In that case I apologise for wasting this space here.)

I've noticed that in the new forums, the title of a thread only appears once on top of the page, which is a minor annoyance to me until... I have to update the Hall of Fame thread, in which it has become completely unreadable, as it relies on the different subject lines assigned to individual posts to distinguish between the different activities.

I don't know whether it's worth reverting this behaviour (some people may abuse the subject lines for whatever purposes?) but IMO sometimes individual posts have different subject lines for a reason. It is currently very confusing.

Too lazyDidn't have time to read the whole thread and I don't know whether it's suggested or even done already by anyone, but I think without worrying morally ambiguous use of the technology in aggressive ways (such as generate the whole story) there can still be a lot of fun use of it.

One idea is to use AI to generate pictures in real time during a playthrough of a pure text adventure (e.g. the good o' Zork series).
This way, you are still playing the same old games but would have some random eye candies to look at.
It'd be nice if someone tries to make an IF parser with such functionality.

Looks like something made with the Wasteland engine, so it must be Fallout!

Also, the girl seems a bit random. This character doesn't have any connection with AGS (unless she's from a game I'm not familiar with). It's just some girl.

She's actually called Blue Cup, a character I designed to troll the forums many years ago (obvious from the original banner) and I had decided to have her cameos in my AGS games (which haven't materialised yet).

Also, the anime style was intentional, for trolling purpose. (Though the real reason was that anime style was the norm here as oppose to western designs, which made me uncomfortable!)

Some time ago I was thinking about making a game where the screen is completely black and you have to navigate solely by sound effects. When I was pointed to this excellent game.

Then you have probably never heard of Enemy Zero and Real Sound from legendary creator Eno Kenji.

Enemy Zero was a survival horror game where the monster enemies never appeared on screen and you had to react according to audio cues. It was actually a rip-off inspired by Silent Debuggers on the PC-Engine. The game was also VERY (IN)FAMOUS for Eno pissing off Sony by announcing in a Playstation press conference that... it was for their rival's console, the Sega Saturn.

He then made Real Sound, which, was exactly what you described, a game with no screen output whatsoever and players needed to navigate by sound only, so the game was playable by blind people. (A later Dreamcast version did have scenery backgrounds though, which didn't change how it's played.)
