I'm waiting for The Vanishing to be released for PS4. Sure looks like a nice game!

Here's another one of my favorites:

If it's newer than Skyrim, it must be The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter then?

Even the enemies look like that big chicken-legged robots that Robocop fought in the movie...

...but I'm not really sure what
If you're really bored, please record and post this Dutch line for me while trying to pronounce it:

"Zeven Schotse scheve schaatsers schaattsen scheef terwijl achtentachtig Scheveningers gingen gootjes scheppen aan het scheveningse strand."

(laugh) (roll)

Ha! I bet you thought I wouldn't do it!!!(nod)(laugh)

THERE!:)

For some reason I bought a pretty decent mic today and I'd like to record something, but I'm not really sure what. If you need a male voice actor (with a slight foreign accent;)) PM me. I'll have plenty of time during the next few weeks so I could do it pretty fast if needed. Thanks;)

Is it a Playstation 2 game?

Sort of reminds me of Syphon Filter... but I don't think it's that.

I'm sure I played it at some point in my life...

Slasher, Gribbler, Nikolas - thanks for your help. It's good to know that the general consensus is that the key would be okay (even if there's a 50:50 chance it wouldn't, it's still enough for an adventure game puzzle to make sense, right?;))

Ghost - thanks for going the extra mile and asking an expert! I am now fully reassured that I can safely go ahead with this scenario. And the other thing you mention about not being able to pick it up straight away... that's even better! What a great opportunity for another puzzle!;)

frenzykitty - nope, it's the same key in the same cat;) Just getting it out is different.

Well, it's definitely got to be in the furnace, not near it. The animal would just run away if it's wasn't locked inside.

And it's not the kind of furnace that's designed to melt metal- it's just for burning wood/coal for heating. Not some super-high temperature one.

Thanks for your help Slasher, but I'm still not sure... Any more ideas? - I tried to google it up but only found fat burning diets and gold melting tips...

I have a question regarding a game puzzle (I promise it's not something I would ever do in real life, I just need this for the story/puzzle to make sense).

Imagine a big basement furnace used for heating a house, something like the one in Saw II, or Nightmare On Elm Street films. Now, imagine a small animal with a metal object inside it. Let's say- a key. Finally, let's assume the furnace gets accidentally switched on and the animal dies burned to a crisp (or would it be ashes?...) The question is - will that metal object remain usable when it's retrieved from the body or will it melt/deform completely, rendering it useless?

Sorry for the wait - work...

Anyway, here's one of my favourite games (surprise surprise;) ) I looked for a screenshot that doesn't instantly give it away... but it can still be considered fairly easy:

Let's see if it takes you longer than 5 minutes to guess what it is;)
