Welcome to you both!  The AGS community is THE BEST.  (Don't trust anyone, ever.)

Glad to see new people looking to build something.  Start small, push your limits and don't be afraid to ask for assistance.

@kintaroost: I can remember reading about a sexually explicit game made in AGS, I think he even tried to sell it. Something to do with "bears" (not the animal kind).

Phew!

Is it Border Zone?

You got it.  It was the reference to Frobnia, wasn't it?  Should have picked a different passage!

Kingdom...O...Magic.  We're dating ourselves, Gribbler.

So, if we must go digging deep into the memory-banks...

the quarters are all heads hence them being head quarters.

Why are the quarters all heads?

Wow.  Nailed it with The Ship.  Good one -- thought I could slip that one by you all.

I've got that one.  It's from The Dream Machine.  Great choice.

Here's a tricky one for you...where would you find this individual?

It looks like the Quake 2 engine to me, so...is it Heretic II?

EDIT: NVM, not an FPS.

Oh man, that was a good one.

I was thinking WAY outside the box...altering physical constants and stuff.

I'm not from New York (or the US, for that fact), but I pass through New York regularly, and to this day, cannot walk through Central Park without hearing that "chung chung" noise from Law and Order.  Sorry.

I suggest finding eats in Greenwich Village, you're spoiled for choice there.  Do take the opportunity to visit the Intrepid Air and Space Museum -- well worth it.  I would personally recommend not visiting the Statue of Liberty directly, you'll get some great photo ops from the Staten Island Ferry instead.  For night-life, there are some great "secret" bars and lounges if you reserve in advance.  I can give you a few tips on those.  Remember that if you're on Manhattan, MetLife stadium is only accessible from Penn Station via the New Jersey line, and it's not easy to find that particular track.  That said, it's almost never worth taking a cab!

I think NickyNyce is from New York, and probably has his own views.

While this is acceptable in English, it is considered poor structure, grammatically.  The second clause states that there is exists doubt about the definitive statement of the first clause, implying that the first clause was not definitive at all.

For example, "He was a fish....or was he?"

Means there exists doubt as to whether or not he was a fish.

Okay, when playing Cart Life, I noticed that the distant background was always fixed in position while the foreground buildings, etc, moved with the character.  How the heck did he do that?

From the first photo, I've got a feeling it's Alien?

That would be Kris Kristofferson, which makes that movie Convoy.

EDIT: I guess I've gotta do one now?

Warning...obscure!
