I've been on a bit of a Lynch kick lately and I'm mostly on board for the surreal quality of his storytelling but for me it's comic relief in some of his work that is most jarring.  Certainly "The Elephant Man" is one of his more accessible works.

I wouldn't say they are funny, but whatever, they are ok. Maybe she is trying to get some money out of the current crisis (which is logical).

Some people are just selfish - like the one asking a non-responsible person to go get help 

Matilda, the game?

I'm feeling like an outsider because I'm not sure I quite understand the humour.  It seems to cross an extremely simple joke (the type a four year old would tell) with violence and then distorts everything slightly. Is part of the humour in its shock value?

I don't really get it either. I've seen these type of comics before, but mostly with Donald and "Piderman", where the poor drawing and spelling is half the joke,
but I felt this one went just a bit too overboard with the text errors for my taste, plus the joke on Pluto and Goofy's similar faces doesn't work well when the artist gave them
entirely different face shapes from one another.

I think the main point is that Pruto just slashed off the face of Gooby, for no reason at all - cause obviously he wouldn't convince Dafty that he is Gooby  Ie Pruto is just a cretin and sickeningly violent as well.

They are supposed to be stupidly drawn disney characters.

"Gooby pls" cartoons certainly aren't for everyone, but I find this particular one very funny
