"Do you have a moment to jump on a quick call?"
No. Learn reading comprehension and don't waste my time.
The quick, brown Laura jumped on the lazy call.

Something about a meat hat is just funny to me. Especially when a fruit hat is considered normal.
..."normal" where? I've never seen anybody that wasn't Carmen Miranda wearing a fruit hat in my life.
(Not counting carnival costumes, of course.)

Tideland?
That was fast! Yes!
A movie I didn't like when I first saw it when it first came out but somehow has stuck with me to this day.
That little psychopath especially!
(I should give it another try I think.)

Yes! You were really quick!
Quote from: Snarky on Thu 26/09/2019 20:36:44I've been a big fan of Madrugada almost since the startâ€"I remember eagerly awaiting the New Depression EPâ€"but I missed them at the Quart Festival back in 2000, and so never saw them live until the reunion this January.

That smugness. Ick.
Oops, missed this one.
All the metaphors and characters are absolutely straightforward to decipher (the loss of his father in the war when he was a child, the memories of air raid sirens and bombings, a disintegrating marriage, a controlling mother, abusive teachers, etc). If I was able to understand the whole movie without anybody explaining anything to me at the age of 15, I would assume a supposed film critic should too
(Or maybe we were just smarter then because we didn't have recaps and youtube videos explaining things to us? *Old Aunt Yells At Cloud To Get Off Her Lawn Because Kids These Days*)

Does either of those films share an actor with Dazed & Confused?
