* raises hand slowly *

(I don't really HATE them, I just HATE Lou Reed, and I think the VU only made 1 good album but I actually love All Tomorrow's Parties and Venus in Furs so they kind of get a pass for that I guess.)

Anyway, today is this kind of day for me. Anybody else into extreme metal around these parts?

If suggesting via a sarcastic google link that there are ways out there to find out literally anything about any subject you want is "virtue signaling", then I'll take it anytime over posting a single source from, wait for it, no less than knowyourmeme, that highly reputable news site.

Funny thing is you proved my point that the previous poster was too lazy to look for information on his own, and just to get back at dem dumm wimmen you went and did all the work for him. Congratulations! Now you can pat each other on the back and hopefully release some of that testosterone you keep bottled up  :-*

I know, right? It's SO hard to find info on anything these days...

In 3.5.0, Viewport is replaced with Camera. Try replacing all instances of "Viewport" with "Camera" and see what happens. You'll  need to keep an eye out for differences such as using Camera.Height instead of ViewportHeight and stuff like that...

Crimson Wizard also gave me these links for documentation of these new features:

Hi! Is this thread still open?

Lately I've been obsessed with this guy, who goes by King Krule, Zoo Kid, Archy Marshall and who knows how many more monikers. He's only 24 years old, he published his first album when he was 19, and his music is... how would I describe this... lo-fi late night croony jazz-blues with breakbeats and "chopped and screwed"-type hip hop beats. The embedded video is easily one of his most conventional songs, but the album The OOZ as a whole (and it is one of those albums that needs to be listened to as a whole) is just mind-blowingly weird, personal, experimental and unique. If this is what gen Z kids are bringing to the table, I'm SO in!

This reminded me SO MUCH of Lord Birthday's stuff that I had to make sure they're not the same guy posting under different names (they're not).

Thanks Edmundito for creating this amazing life-saving module and maintaining it all these years! I was kind of scared to take the plunge at first but I used 2.1.0 for the first time a couple of days ago and now I can't imagine doing anything without it ;-D I agree 100% with whoever said back in the day that it should come bundled with AGS by default!

Wuhu, amazing work! I still need to remove headphones jack -> be courageous enough to fully move from 3.4.3 to 3.5.0   (roll)

Me too! So much potential there but also so scary! (and also a bit of laziness on my part, why not admit it)

Uh Notarobotyet, you look so... french.

Ahaha well I'm Spanish and live in Germany so France is kind of in the middle? Close enough?

I tried to post a pic from my computer but I'm so dumb, I don't know how to do...  :-[

You have to upload it somewhere else first (lots of people use imgur, I found put.re to be super easy and quick) and link it from there.

Every single crappy horror asset flip game on itch.io says that though. At this point it doesn't really mean anything except maybe a couple of VERY LOUD JUMPSCARES! :-D
Oh I could tell you a thing or two about those crappy horror "games" on itch.io.
I've already boiled it down to a formula.
Always a flashlight (sometimes one which runs out of battery power, so you can't see anything).
Always a room that's illuminated red, somewhere in the game.
Always notes littered about the place, because apprently people write down their thoughts on random pieces of paper and leave them lying around.
Almost always a basement that you have go into to attempt to turn the power on.
ALWAYS literal key-door puzzles. Find a locked door, find another locked door, find a key, open locked door, find another key, open the other locked door, ect.
And then there's the fact that it's either a "monster maze" game, where you're wandering around and a monster is too, and that monster can usually run faster than you, with no way of avoiding it once you see it. Or it's a "haunted house" game, where you wander around and there's literally nothing that can hurt you. The walls may bleed, and the corridors may change layout behind you, but nothing will actually hurt you. You may get to a point where you're being "chased" by a monster, but in that case you merely have to wander around slightly faster, otherwise you'll have to retry the scripted chase sequence.
Throw in a few loud jumpscares, which by this point no one is startled by anymore, and there you go. Your very own "horror game".  :-X

Hahaha RED IS SCARY!

But yup, every. single. one. of. these. They've become so trite, boring and predictable that I'm not even entertained anymore by watching youtubers make fun of them...

If your game needs such restrictive conditions to be enjoyable, it probably isn't too good to begin with.

You do not talk shit about Cyan. YOU. DO. NOT. TALK. SHIT. ABOUT. CYAN.
(The entire Myst series had a monitor calibration screen)

Hahaha fair enough, fair enough!

I always get excited when a game tells me to do that. That means it's probably going to scare the hell out of me (or at least try).

Just reviving this thread to say that it grinds my gears when games tell you to "turn down the lights and use headphones". One, DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO uGH MOM, and two, If your game needs such restrictive conditions to be enjoyable, it probably isn't too good to begin with.

(Sorry, woke up feeling grumpy and felt the need to complain about something, but I guess that's what this thread is for :-D)

Just found this on my phone so... I guess it's as good an excuse as any to prove that I'm NOT a tiny pixelated character IRL :-D

(No, the little shithead is not mine, I was just taking care of him for a few days!)
