Does anybody want to take over? I feel like I've guessed too many movies and shows the last few days so I'll be glad if someone else wants to grab the chance to post something O:)

Rather than the actor, it's the vest that looks familiar... The Warriors?

Well, seeing Michael J. Anderson of Twin Peaks fame confirms it is indeed Carnivale. With Meat Loaf's daughter in the first season.

Ha! I didn't know that, but I definitely see the resemblance now.

And yes, Carnivale, of course. One of the weirdest and most fascinating oddities ever seen on TV, but of course it couldn't last and got cancelled by HBO after its second season. To be fair, the writing was kind of all over the place by then, but I'm still really fond of it anyway. And those opening credits! And the music! Oh, what I wouldn't give to get another season or two. Or a movie, seeing how well it worked with Deadwood...

Your turn then, Mr Wombat!

Good Omens?

No, but they both have a "good vs. evil, dark vs. light" theme in common.

Here's another one:

Tak notarobotyet.  (nod)
Your turn.

Edit: Also nothing wrong with typing in the clues into Google, or your favorite search engine...  ;) so if that's what you did, it's a perfectly valid way to get to the answer...  (nod)
feeding the image to google and let it find similar images for you is not cool, though.

Where even is the fun in googling images though? Unless the only reason you play is so you can post the next screenshot  (laugh)

OK, an easy one now (I think), from one of my favourite series ever:

Google says "The Doctor Blake Mysteries" (I'm guessing at this point using google is legit, since nobody else seems to know or have watched the series ¯\_(ãÆ'„)_/¯ )

Night on Earth?

Either my movies are too easy, or people have really good taste around these parts :-D Your turn!

Wow, I thought I had seen most of Lynch's stuff. Somehow missed Rabbits. The episodes have been strung together on YouTube, if anyone else is interested:

Here's my humble interpretation:
Spoiler

Maybe I'm being too literal, but I thought the entire thing was based on some dark family secret that happened at the hands of Jack. The family is obviously working class and in need of his income, so everyone --including a guilt stricken Jack-- is holding on. The dialogue is partly each character's internal monologue and partly a real dialogue.
[close]

I also tend to go for the more literal interpretation, but I don't care that much either way. It's all about the atmosphere for me rather than the meaning (nod)

ok, so I guess... there goes another one?

The eerie close ups really stuck with me so it was an easy guess.

I'm not sure which movie to post now so I decided on this really easy one:

This is also Inland Empire! Well, to be precise, this is David Lynch's "Rabbits", which is a series of short films, some fragments of which also got used in Inland Empire.

I know it's not Deadwood but I'm going to say Deadwood anyway because why not, and also the movie came out the other day and I'm really excited to watch it. That's all. Please proceed with the riddle  :-D

It's Deadly Premonition or Red Seeds Profile in Japan. A game very dear to my heart, I own it on Xbox360 as well as PC.

Indeed it is! Good taste, Buckethead  ;)

You're next!

Wait...there's a Bruce Lee adventure game?! This changes everything!  (laugh)

It's actually a platformer/beat-em-up, this thread moved away from just adventure games a while back  :-D

There goes mine:
