Brookside?
Coronation Street?
The Young & The Restless?

It's not a soap opera, it's an Australian sitcom.

None of the above,

This is an Australian sitcom.

I came across this show a few years ago and i did find it rather quirky and outrages at times. I guess it's a little more niche than i assumed.

This reminds me about the Seinfeld episode where Seinfeld and Kramer are washing up in the restroom of a pizza restaurant, and the pizza chef comes out of a stall and walks out without washing. They somewhat lose their apetite...

I was only just thinking about an incident at a pub I visited, the chef walked out of the cubicle and did a half hearted 2 second rince under a cold tap, (no soap) and off he went, plus I reckon he only did that because he seen someone else was using the facilities or he'd of just walked straight out.

Also reminds me of The only fools and horses episode (the jolly boy's outing), Del and Rodney are in the public toilet speaking with Eddie chambers who uses the urinal and then proceeds to shake Del's hand.

Looks like a cross of syberia, tomb raider and broken sword but I'm sure it's none of them.

Wow where do you live with numbers like that? Yeah that infuriates me too, but it's thankfully a rare sight where I am.

Englands so called second city, well just outside but yes its certainly not the cleanest of places.

What grinds my gears: People that don't wash their hands after using the toilet or before eating. The amount of people I witness that use public toilets and simply walk out without taking a moment after doing their business is staggering, from a male perspective its around 8 out of 10 people which don't bother to wash their hands.

I had the CD version of Toonstruck which had an unsolvable puzzle in it. I was big into point n click games at the time so i knew some of the annoyance that could be involved within their puzzles so i spent days trying solve this Toonstruck puzzle which later on turned out to be a game breaking bug. Think i read about the bug in a gamer magazine as access to the internet back then was limited.

All game ideas seem to have been taken already  :~(
I think of the horror games. Maybe if the formula is right, it's ok to stick to it.

I personally believe it comes down to what's trending at the given time. Survival/horror has been trending amongst indie game players and generally within the teen gamer age bracket for quite some time. Indie devs can knock up these games pretty quick which is evident due to the sheer volume of this genre product on the market.

As devs it's going to be situational to what we want to achieve, if your looking to make an easy buck then you'll be following closely on what's trending and focus your efforts on that particular genre whether you like it or not.

As for the hobbyist dev, you're going to be focusing on what you personally want to create and allowing your inner creativity to truly flow. In my opinion this is where we're going to possibly see something unique been created.

I feel the same across all arts, it's very rare to come across something unique these days.

The sci-fi set looks cheap and cheesy enough for the image to be from Red Dwarf.  (laugh) I'm not sure about the monster, though.

Indeed it is, and how wonderfully cheap and cheesy it is.

Over to you.

It really does.  (nod) I'd even go so far as to say it's the episode with the Pleasure Gelf. "Camille" is the episode I'm thinking of.

Spot on my good sir.

Superstore.

The sitcom reminds me of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" within a different setting.

If that's Caroline Ahern on the left, I'm guessing Royle Family?
It is Caroline Aherne.
Yes it is The Royle Family, both shots from episode "The Golden Egg Cup"

I was about to say that it looked very British, but then I noticed the BBC logo in the corner.  (laugh)
Paddy and Max on the road to nowhere?

Doh, I forgot to remove the logo on that shot.

It's not Paddy and Max on the road to nowhere.
