one of these Bandit movies?
You'll have to be more specific
Spoiler
(And no, it's not a Smokey and the Bandit movie. This flick stars the only man more manly than late 70s/early 80s Burt Reynolds).

Another fine podcast, but gosh it got unexpectedly humid at the end! Bromance indeed!

I think you mentally insert Shaft into all movies.

Truth be told, my brain processes the world like this:

Yes, I drop Shaft into everything. But I'm Shaft. That extra bit is what makes it awesome (for me -- for everyone else, it's creepy. I go around softly humming the theme music to myself and calling everyone "jive turkey" under my breath).

Shaft's Big Score?
Yeah, baby! I can dig it! :cheesy:

Love that movie. The great helicopter chase is one of my favorite 70s action scenes EV4R!!!

Your turn, hep cat.

Not at all close! But keep trying, baby! :cheesy:

(Also: Not dust, but rather gunfire. It's a funky action movie, dig?)

Not the Fifth Element and not Lawnmower Man either. (wrong)

Snake Plissken is the most western hero I've ever seen outside of a western. The same can be said of Jack Burton too. Also, I've heard of Tale Spin, but I don't think I've ever seen it. I was a bit too old when those Disney shows hit the air, sadly.

Only Angels Have Wings was the inspiration for one of my favorite TV shows, Tales of the Gold Monkey. For some reason I didn't recognize it until you posted that last shot. And Howard Hawks loved cowboys so much, he stuck them in almost every movie he did. Much like John Carpenter, a big fan of Hawks, tends to do.

Anyhoo, here's a cap from a movie I watched just last weekend.
