I'm beginning to suspect that Ponch exclusively watches terrible action films, which is okay since I almost exclusively watch terrible horror films.

I'll have you know I also watch terrible sci fi films. Just last night I watch Battle Beyond The Stars and two episodes of Galactica: 1980.  8)

Freejack is from the early 80s, which are scientifically indistinguishable from the late 80s. It are a fact. I know because of my learnings.

A bad Robo-Cop cop-off?

Nope. Not even close.

Indeed, it is the best movie ever. I applaud you, Armageddon. You sir, are a real man.

Domino: The only cure is more Samurai Cop. Watching just a little will only make things worse. You must watch all of it, or none at all.

I enjoyed the hell out of Samurai Cop.  It's one of the best bad movies I've ever seen. EVER! Get some friends, some beer, and a lazy Saturday evening. Then pop this movie in and bask in the magic of the shittiest thing you'll ever see. It's truly remarkable. 

Anyhoo, I'll post another screenie just as soon as I get official confirmation from Armageddon.

The way that movie switches between real hair to wig and back again is the sort of thing that keeps me up at night.

Death Wish V: So Very, Very Tired. 

I used to think these kind of films were awesome, then turned like 12 and I started to make fun of them, because that's what people are supposed to do, even though they're the staple of the late 80s and early 90s  

I used to love Van Damme movies (and Chuck Norris, etc) when I was a kid. As an adult, I love them for completely different reasons. I missed the "let's make fun of this silly movie" phase entirely. I wish we still made coherent but dumb movies like those. It seems like too many of the action movies today are either incoherent (Transformers and Sucker Punch), or trying way to hard to be deep / have a message (Bourne and the Matrix). I miss simple plots and bad one liners. 

Also, I love the movie you posted. But I just had a turn, so I'll let someone else have it.

Is it Hard target?

It certainly is!  

Fun fact: I was at Mardi Gras the year after Van Damme made this movie and the city of New Orleans had made him the Bacchus the lord of the festival. He was on a float, throwing these coins with his face on them out into the crowds. I caught one and I have it a box somewhere in the closet.

Truly, a brush with greatness.  8)
