The phrase to look at is: Close to boot.  The answer is a 5 letter word.

#2 is Pond to be exact but lake is close enough.

#3 hasn't been answered.  You're missing a rather important clue in the riddle.  Sometimes phrases need to be taken literally.

Atelier, this is based off a game, while your answer was technically correct, it wouldn't answer the game's riddle.

Sephiroth, while it's been figured out we're looking at a reflection, the answer is where the reflection is found.  Read the rest of the riddle for clues on why "mirror" doesn't work.

It's funny how quickly these were answered.  Though, Your Escape is wrong.  It's close to it though.

"Temper" is correct.  #2 is not correct.  But I do wonder, how are licorice and pizza made in spiral towers?  And they are USUALLY eaten alone.
