The competitions rules may should state how to proceed in case a competition is running past it's supposed end date (like current Background Blitz!) or has not been re-iterated yet (like current Sprite JAM).

Completely agree! Too often, competitions die temporarily untill someone goes ahead and starts a new one, which technically needs special permission because the rules say last winner starts the next round. I think if there is no new competition after - let's say - 1 week or 2 after the last winner is declare (or a competition has no entries, which also often stops them), a neutral person should automatically start a new round. Ideally, that would be either the admin of the last round (probably not what people want, becuse it can easily lead to an endless circle) or a moderator (but I'm not sure Gilbert wants this responsibility).

I guess I'll offer to take this task, as I regularly check for new competitions anyway, when I update the Competition Topic Master List.

I really enjoyed the first season of Dark, kept watching through the second, but then I gave up on it halfway through the third season - it became too convoluted, I realized that most of the time I had no idea what was going on anymore ;).

https://dark.netflix.io/en  -  helps keeping track of people and relationships. You can choose season and episode to avoid spoilers. I didn't need it, but I binge-watched, which really helped, not too much time between episodes, so not so much stuff I could forget from one episode to the next or from season to the next.

I guess I'll give Katla a pass. People not properly talking to each other really annoys me in fictional characters. More than one otherwise good book was ruined by this for me.  (wrong)

Which is the way it should be. Forget his name, remember these instead:

    Beutis Renuka Amarasinghe, 45
    Andrea Knafelc Bradden, 33
    Geraldine Brady, 83
    So He Chung, 22
    Anne Marie D'Amico, 30
    Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Forsyth, 94
    Chul Min "Eddie" Kang, 45
    Ji Hun Kim, 22
    Munir Najjar, 85
    Dorothy Sewell, 80

In Ancient Rome there was a custom called damnatio memoriae (though not by the Romans themselves, the name is newer), meaning condemnation of memory. It basicaly meant to strike a person completely from public memory. Because it was an official act, that included things like removing statues and such.
Sometimes I think this was a pretty good idea.

Remember the victims, not the perpetrators.

I'm in a pretty bleak mood and was actually looking for something to cheer me up. Oh, well.

The Mentalist, maybe? I seem to remember an episode where a monkey was the killer.

"Oh, here's the scotch tape. Yeah, needed that, I ran out..."
"Hey, look, the cable I soooooo wanted. I mean, it's just a spare in case my other one breaks but..."
"Wait! That's cool, batteries. Now I can use my kitchen scale again. But that reminds me, I need to buy flour when I go shopping the next time..."
(laugh) (laugh) (laugh)

At least they managed to send all parcels with the same parcel service this time. More often than not, it's different ones and of course they don't come to your door at the same time.

Amazon is grinding my gears right now. I don't know if this is the same everywhere, but here you always get the option to tick a box so that your order gets sent in as few packets as possible. I always tick this box and Amazon still manages to send my order with 7 items in 5 parcels. Are you f... kidding me? (And before you ask, all articles were in stock and are all supposed to arrive on the same day.) And it seems to happen more and more often. Two years ago or so, the max number of parcels from one order was two and my orders are always around 7 to 10 articles.
I mean, I know this is probably due to the things being send from different warehouses, but it's still annoying.

Okay, there's a clear difference in costume for the woman in the middle in the last picture, so it's either timetravel or a show within a show (or a dream, horror, and so on...), so:

Outlander?

Awe, an early present, just for me? Thank you.  :-[ :-* :-[

...

Oh no, it looks like Santa drove his sleight so fast that part of the present fell down!  8-0

(I really appreciate the effort, but sorting a list by certain information is far more useful when you can also see this information.)

Completely random: I just learned that AGS was already around in the seventies!  (nod)
There are a couple of games with a realese date of 1. Jan 1970 - obviously an automately generated date for games where no actual date was available. It would probably make more sense to change this to "Relese Date: not available" or something, but I doubt anyone pays that much attention to it.
Edit: Looking a bit closer, in the All Games List, these games have as their relesed date: "unknown", but on the individual games pages it's 1. Jan 1970.

Would it be possible to get the same sorting features and details for the Fewer than Five People Have Rated and Games No One Has Rated lists as the All Games List already has? Like Author, Release Date (that's the one I really want), Panel Rating.
(I know: In the Next Versiontm, right?  ;))

Yes, that is The Crown, showing the absolute start of the most recent season.  ;) (mouse on the lower right side).

Damm, my post makes so much more sense without this stupid typo:

... showing the absolute star of the most recent season...

Spartacus or Rome?
I've seen neither, but this hairstyle just screams roman decadence.

There seems to be a bug with longer comments on games in the database. When there's a longer comment, there is a symbol ( >> ) that I assume is for showing the whole comment, but: the whole comment is already there even before clicking it, and when clicking it the comment text just repeats. See here for example.

That's not going to work. People arround here really seem to loath all kind of voting (hyperbole, but still). It's even difficult to get people who enter a contest to vote in this specific contest, so I really doubt all that many people would show up for this.
