I guess I'll take pity and pick up this one: What We Do in the Shadows.

After not really enjoying it at first, I came around on this show (The vampire tribunal was brilliant!), and now I'm really digging season two.

It's because of one of the lines you've added to SayAtBubble():

Code: ags
    x = this.x - GetViewportX() - bubbleSprite.Width/2;

Why have you changed the module code?

A creepy little track off Guyville.

It's one that seems to shift in meaning whenever I listen to it. This time around it sounds to me like a story of teenage sexual abuse.

If you wanna know which film, if that's so… Yes it is. (That's what it is.)

Jesus, this is terrible. Really trying to force the rhyme and meter. I apologize.

(I also didn't know until recently that this was a cover version. Interestingly Cher seems to follow the original recording by Merry Clayton more than the version that became a hit for Betty Everett.)

I was 16/17 and fell in love madly with Winona Ryder in this video. I don't know why I tried to convince myself for so many years after this that I was attracted to guys when my fate had so clearly been sealed then and there :-D

lol

Understandable.

Winona, Cher and baby Christina Ricci.

I vividly remember watching this in some after-school social club at around age twelve. Rewatched it recently, and it still holds up pretty well.

Nothing so far. (I'm pretty sure the cones are lampshades. I suppose they are a hint of sorts, but the car is probably more of a giveaway.)

I can't see my Sent Messages (PMs). Trying to load the page fails.

To be more specific, the page I'm talking about is Messages | Sent Items, with URL https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?action=pm;f=sent

However, I just tried with an alternate test account, so maybe there's something particularly broken for me? Too many PMs sent?

Have you reordered the modules so that TotalLipSync is no longer above SpeechBubble? That's the only explanation I can think of.
#694
Well, I have some good news for you!  ;-D

Two songs in a row that really tickle my memory centers!

Last October, those long-gone days before Australia and the world "went a bit J.G. Ballard," after a day of diving out by the Great Barrier Reef I was sitting in this sort of veranda bar/restaurant out by a little cove, looking out over the moonlit waters. And from the back of the kitchen came the sounds of "Harvest Moon." I knew I'd heard it before, but couldn't place it. Fortunately my phone mic was eventually able to pick it up enough for Shazam to ID it. It's a beautiful song.

And the Tom Waits track reminds me of Napstering random tracks in college, which is how I ended up with the version of "The Piano Has Been Drinking" that will always be closest to my heart, very different from the usual one. For many years I had no idea where it came from:

Dune?
(Is there a Dune movie?)

Is there ever!

(Also: David Lynch, Patrick Stewart, Kyle MacLachlan, Sean Young…) This is not it, though.

There's a new one on the way, too, that was gonna come out this Christmas. (Though now who knows?) That one's by Denis Villeneuve (Blade Runner 2049, Arrival), with an all-star cast: Timothee Chalamet, Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, Zendaya, Stellan Skarsgård…

Sorry to derail the thread, I'm just slightly obsessed.  :-[
