Sorry. I had no useful guesses. It's been over a decade since I've had TNT. And this looks like a procedural show. The few I watched were either on CBS or USA.
Though the woman with glasses from the image around this time yesterday looks vaguely familiar...

Ah. No wonder I didn't recognize it. I only saw the reboot from the early 90s...
And I refuse to speak of that thing with Will Ferrell in it.

It's certainly not a great tv series, but it is fun at times. I enjoyed it enough when I watched it on the Sci Fi Channel to buy the series.

The actress who played the main character was in an episode of Tales from the Crypt and Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III the same year this series started. And the second to last episode was named based on a 1988 movie with Julia Roberts.

This series also shares the same name as a 1947 movie with June Lockhart of Troll fame in it...

Come on Mandle, don't fail me. I'm pretty sure Obscurus Lupa was still part of Channel Awesome when she reviewed this. And it was one of her favorite tv series.

I agree this wasn't one of the great ones. I even fell asleep the last time I watched it. But it seemed somewhat appropriate with the upcoming Picard series.
But, it was mostly the first random movie I came up with that hadn't been done.
