How strange the manual doesn't say global message is obsolete.



Anyway. I managed to solve the problem.

Just open 2 AGS editors the old and the new.

Copy and paste the lines to new AGS by using Display instead DisplayMessage.

I decided to work an old game from v2.72 and converted to the last version of AGS.

Even if ags still recognize global messages from previous versions, I can't find global messages from 900 to 999.

The game is supposed to be longer. That's why nobody can reach 320.

Anyway I uploaded a newest version to reflect the new final score.

Whew. Cutting it real close - had to axe a lot of puzzles, sound effects, and animation frames - but I managed to get my entry playable from start to finish!

This is my MAGS entry for this month! I plan to do a write-up, release the code and all that soon. The game is super short, as I did not have as much free time as I would like. I recommend headphones when playing it.

Mine's coming along! ...Slower than I'd like as things have been busy for me too, so I'm cutting extraneous features out like mad to make the deadline.

We'll see how we go. 

At least we have competition this time.
