Leon, do you have the ags game "Simpsons Adventure Game" (which is a demo if I'm right)?
Well, "do you have" is a rhetorical question, I should say "can you upload this game for me"?  ;)

@Timothy:
V-sign nowaday usage :

Back of the hand facing the signer:

  • square Two â€" nonverbal communication of quantity
  • square  Victory â€" in a setting of wartime or competition. It was first popularized by Winston Churchill, and sometimes is made using both hands, or upraised arms as President Eisenhower, and in imitation of him Richard Nixon, used to do.
  • square  Peace or Friend â€" used around the world by peace and counter-culture groups
  • square  Bunny ears or devil horns â€" used behind the head of a subject of a photograph.
Palm facing the signer:

  • square  Two â€" indicating quantity although more common with palm turned around.
  • square  Insulting â€" largely restricted to the United Kingdom, South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia.
  • square  Peace â€" in the United States and Canada without respect to the direction.
Used with other movement:

  • square  Air quotes â€" flexing fingers, palm out, both hands.
  • square  The letter V, in American Sign Language â€" used when spelling. This handshape is also used in a number of signs, including "to see/look" done in a similar manner to the military use. When each finger is pointed at the signer's eyes then turned and point one finger at someone it means "I am watching you."
@Scarab
Your right:
The legend [which can be true] of the V-sign:
The story claims that the French claimed that they would cut off the arrow-shooting fingers of all the English and Welsh longbowmen after they had won the battle at Agincourt. But the longbowmen came out victorious and showed off their two fingers, still intact [taunt]...

QUESTION and story: I walked into the office at my work and gave the secretary the peace sign as I approached her desk (I'm always bugging her :P).  She told me she believes that in England you'll get your face punched in if you have your hand turned to show your knuckles/palm while giving the peace sign, but with your hand turned around is the correct way.

Is this true?  Is this really an insult in England (which she mentioned she believed it was England, or some country in the vicinity).
Yep, that's true.

If there is one animal I hate it is definitely the (female) mosquito.
Is there any usefulness of there existence beside being food for fish?

I bought it at a regular music/movie store called "freerecordshop" here in Holland.
And it was pretty cheap too, only 10 Euro's.
I'm glad that I have the original one: Japanese spoken, Dutch subtitled.
There is also a English dubbed version but i don't really like it that way.

B.t.w.: I also own "Ichi the killer".
A truly wicked movie. Recommended   :o:P

What makes this awesome is that it's real ;D http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1381512/

Ha, reminds me of a movie I own from the same director/writer: The Machine Girl [2008]

Heat = atomic motion
vacuum = (almost) no atoms.
No atoms = no heat loss or warming up by conduction

So the hot soup stays hot and cools down very slowly because a perfect vacuum is nearly impossible.
But I guess that theoretically the hot soup stays hot as long as there is no conduction.
...then how do we get heat from the Sun here on Earth? Heat is not atomic motion in the sense it's the atoms, it's the energy that makes the atoms move/vibrate...it's not only energy waves, but it's EM waves - the ones that don't need matter/medium to spread...
Or did I just make an ass out myself?  :-\
well, atomic motion gives also vibration which leads to invisible Infrared Radiation, that's how we get heat from the sun here on earth.
When infrared is absorbed, it results in atomic motion, and therefore, in a rise in temperature.
And no, you didn't make an ass out of yourself ;)

InC,

As for the first scientific one:

Heat = atomic motion
vacuum = (almost) no atoms.
No atoms = no heat loss or warming up by conduction

So the hot soup stays hot and cools down very slowly because a perfect vacuum is nearly impossible.
But I guess that theoretically the hot soup stays hot as long as there is no conduction.

I posted this one because the eyes on this photo turned out to be pretty weird.
Quit funny though, he sort of looks hollow because of the eyes.
Somehow the camera itself created this "effect".

And oh, he's Tommie, my tomcat:

Usually it's "find the 10 differences" but this is more like "find the 10 resemblances"... LOL.
