We need more nominations to have a result with some significance.
A game needs to have at least 5 votes to be nominated. Currently, this does not apply for a single game for Best Character and Best Short game.

It is bitter sweet and sad, I almost started to cry when it ended. It reminds me somewhat of this lovely place here. And with the forums down recently, it really hit close to home.

Same here.

I personally would like to keep them (and update them), but maybe the presentation could be tweaked to make it less jarring, to put the pictures into more context.

I like the idea: what about just adding a big, blue "Merry Christmas" and smaller "from CJ, creator of AGS" or similar to the screen?

On a side note: We know that there is a lot of spam coming up recently. We (i.e. mostly Snarky) do our best to remove it, but it might take a few hours. Sometimes it's also hard because bots might only come back later and edit their posts with spam.
