The Rumpus Room / Re: Guess the TV show

That's Raumpatrouille Orion, of course! Wonderful early Sci-Fi series!

Someone else can take my turn, I usually don't read this thread, was just by coincidence that I saw the screen.

Of course, she would also look great in a less anime and more European comic style (like Clotilde) - would this make you feel less uncomfortable, AGA?
#283
I like her. What does the previous 404 girl have to do with AGS?
#284
❤️

For the nominees, she could also be dreaming (thought bubble) of the trophy, while as a winner she holds it in hands.

Today was quite tricky, actually. It took me 5 guesses
Spoiler
my 4th being DRINK, so almost there.

At least I was able to solve plusword on my own. Sometimes I don't even find a single word.
#287
Really? I didn't even know the word. I got it on 3rd by randomly trying letters (even my second guess was a random word I typed because I couldn't think of any words that fit)
#288
Congrats! Took me 3.
#289
I tried PlusWord, but it was super difficult for me.
#290
I messed up yesterday, but got it on 3rd today.
#291
Yeah, this was a hard one, only got it on my 5th as well. I think I somehow read the word years ago when playing AoE3 (so I vaguely remembered the word, but not the exact meaning), but I was surprised when I heard how it is pronounced. I thought it would be

ba'you but actually it seems to be 'ba you

What is YAKOX? Not even Merriam Webster knows it.

At least today I got it with 3.

Mostly 4 or 3 recently. Today I was especially lucky, getting it in 3 for the regular and 2 for the Austrian version.
#293
I wonder what the words you come up with say about how your brain works. Today, I got it on 4th try after
Spoiler
STARE, CHILE, LONGE, DELVE. I had to look up delve in a dictionary. The word popped into my mind but I didn't remember the meaning.

I sometimes come up with quite obscure words
Spoiler
Would everyone know what LONGE means? For me it's clear because I went horse riding as a kid.
A few days ago I guessed WHIST. Why would my mind bring up the name of an obscure card game that I only read once about in a Jules Verne story?

Today was interesting, because as long as I've played I don't remember encountering non-infinitiv forms of verbs. In quordle (expecially in pratice mode) there are tons of them, though. It took me 4 tries today.

I think it's pretty clear that this was the original puzzle, and that NYT changed it given recent news, since it might be seen as sensitive/controversial.

Yeah, that even made it into the news here. Weird.

I got it in 3 tries a few times recently :)

Happy Birthday, Mandle!

I think different here - if you want to make games, just make them. Use MMM or RON resources that Danvzare has linked and see where you are going with it. And if you want to draw pixel art, there is no need to learn to draw with a pencil first. Just google for pixel art tutorials. You might also want to check out pixel art software like ASEprite.
#298
Ah, yes, that's possible.
#299
Haha, I also guessed

FAIRY/DAIRY/HAIRY

Same as Snarky, mostly 4 recently with the occasional 3 or 5.

Today I messed up again, because too many options. I didn't know that

I got on 3rd try today, even though the word was rubbish  ;)
Yesterday it took me 6 guesses, because I didn't know the word  :-\
