The new Windows calculator icon. It is just so ugly - what were they thinking?
#342
Thanks for the pick, Creamy! I am seriously neglecting them ATM  :-[
#343
Thanks! I set the pick.
#344
A blast from the past! Sadly, the download is a setup, so I cannot try it ATM. Can you confirm that the download works and is playable?

(Btw, glad to see you are back, I was worried a bit what happened to you  :) )

It seems that this is a Steam only version. A Pick of the month should not require the player to login or register somewhere.

What is this thing about toilet paper? People go crazy about buying it now. Yesterday two people before and after me at the checkout bought huge amounts of it, so I asked if it is on sale but seems they were just panicking. Today it is not available at supermarkets anymore because of crazy people. It is a running gag in web forums already.

Thanks, Creamy!

Isn't this more like a "I want to be first to have it" thing? Like those people who queue at night in front of a store just to be the first to buy the new gadget xyz as soon as it comes out?

Would it be possible to contact Space Quest Historian somehow and ask for creating an entry?

I loved the game, but actually I would like to set it as pick for next December. I don't think the beginning spring is the best time to play this.
#351
Thanks and done!

There is a problem with the result of game search. If the screenshot is wider than 4:3 the text overlaps. You can see a few examples when searching for non-English games (https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/search/game_lengths:1,6,0,15;genres:1,2,3,4,5,0;game_types:1,2,3,4,5,0;story_types:1,2,3,4,5,0;commercial:1;languages:43,53,164;operating_systems:1/1/name/asc/)

It's February already. We do have 29 days this year, but we still need a new pick soon!

Since TheFrighter posted it, I assume the award the movie won is Best International Feature Film...

Then I suggest that you create such a thread and then ask the local moderator to sticky it.
#356
What about a sticky post in Beginners' Technical Questions where tutorials are linked?

Great idea!

I will add two more suggestions for Lifetime Achievement:

Mandle

He is always active on the forums and keeping them alive. He started several popular forum games in the Rumpus Room. He joins what feels like every second MAGS and always with very creative ideas. He also worked successfully on a few larger commercial projects.

(No avatar ATM)
CaptainD

A member of the forum since what feels forever. He has an incredibly long list of games he worked on. He is a team player and willing to help out other developers with testing, voice acting, writing or whatever is needed. He is a maker and hands-on guy and manages to spread his positive attitude very well.

I'm currently working on a German translation and of course had problems with Umlauts (while they worked for a previous translation). I was already preparing a post on the technical board, when I rechecked the character encoding of the trs file and realized, it was UTF8 instead of ANSI  (roll)
#359
Thanks! I downloaded the game already yesterday and will play it once I'm done with MAGS voting.

The strike through did not work for the pick, though. Do you want to rephrase it?
