Quote from: Mouth for war on Wed 14/02/2018 01:35:43Jaws is a classic, and a truly great film. But 47 Meters Down is the best shark movie for my money.
Jaws is still the best shark movie around and people have had 40 years trying to beat it!

I don't get it?
Is the joke supposed to be that Ulfberht swords are supposed to be super fragile?
Or that he legitimately just tried to kill that guy?
Quote from: Atelier on Wed 06/12/2017 21:40:20I loved this. Even though this was in the mid '00s, it felt like it was from the mid '90s.
Some Midwest emo (cue internet flamewar about music genres)

It grinds my gears when people pluralise 'LEGO' as 'LEGOs'. I realise that it's an acceptable form as enough people use it (although LEGO themselves don't like it) but I grew up with LEGO as an uncountable noun so the s sounds genuinely weird to me. If I want to count them I use 'pieces' or 'bricks'.

ps - are there quest games (fan made games) about lord of the rings? (strange but there is no (if i know right) modern (for sale) quest about this story - may be because of franchise rights...)
