On the front page, From the Forums lists two posts from new user davidjuhl in recent posts - one in What song are you listening to right now and one in a tech thread about Rotating Sprites. However, when i click on these, I get to the thread but don't see his posts. They don't show up in Recent Posts either.

In unrelated events, there's been an entry on the games page from someone named Jacob McGriff - a game called Chef Pishgetti. The entry seems to be blank - no link, no image. And no way of contacting Mr McGriff to help him out.

Hi, ThatDude!

We're glad to have you with us! Let's pour you a nice Blue Cup and hang out, talking about and making adventures.  (nod) We also have smaller friendly competitions going on if you want
to showcase your writing or drawing skills. This is the place to be.

(for the record, "minchia" is a swear word.)
That's the second time I've seen that word used in a song title! ;-D
I guess that the Zappa song performed by Massimo Bassoli is the other one?

Does anyone have Goose Quest 1 Demo? It's listed as missing in The TMD's long list, but I reckon not everyone will read posts of that length.

Same goes for Everlot Demo.

Having now tried it a little, I have one criticism of Wordlebot: its strategy and recommendations are based on knowing exactly which words are possible solutions (a much smaller pool of words than the ones that are valid guesses). So the other day, for instance, it knew that the solution could not be BOYAR, even though that is a valid word, simply because it's not in the list of Wordle solutions. That's not something a human player could know for sure without cheating, and it affects the optimal strategy.
[offtopic]Slightly offtopic - Reminds me of Nikkabot, the automatic Wordfeud bot who knows all the allowed words. Can be beat, apparantly, but not by me.[/offtopic]

That's some great clavinet playing! A bit odd choice for showcasing George Duke, IMO, as he's more in the foreground on other songs and solos frequently in that Zappa band.

This is looking extremely good, and sounds like it will be very fun to play!

Awesome! I just realized that speed sailing a viking ship around some tropical islands is the perfect start to my day!  ;-D

Weird...I tried now and could dl without difficulties via the link on the game page. My firewall tells me it's an unsafe file, so I have to manually override it and tell it I want to download anyway, and then it does.

Could be that archive.org has so many downloads that firewalls count it as a safe site.

Hey, I am looking for this game on AGS database: https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/game/1832/
Doesn't the regular download link work for you? It seems to be in order...

Anyway, it's also at https://archive.org/details/red-hot-overdrive

Another old MAGS game:

Seek, and Ye Shall Find is at https://globalgamejam.org/2021/games/seek-and-ye-shall-find-3 This is a short game where you play hide and seek with your daughter. Not puzzle oriented, but well worth a play. Tells a nice story.

Lassi Quest Remake Demo is at https://archive.org/details/lassi-quest-1-remake-demo Unifinished and unfinishable, and not worth playing for other than historical reasons, I guess.

Major Bummer Dude: Lassi Quest RON is at https://archive.org/details/RON-major-bummer-dude-lassi-request-ron This may be the only Lassi game that's decent.

Night of the Plumber is at https://archive.org/details/night-of-the-plumber This is a decent MAGS game if you can tolerate the toilet humour and one Osama bin Laden masturbation joke (!). (Okay, so maybe "decent" was a poor choice of words.)

It seems that James Bondage is unfinishable. From the old threads, it looks like it was released "as is", that is, a demo with no ending, for a MAGS. If anyone knows otherwise, please correct this.

Ha! Are you deutsch, Mouth For War?
Only the italiani and the deutschs love the Spencer - Hill movies!  :-D

Wrong! They were absolute classics in Spain too ;)

I remember there always being plenty of these in the video rentals back in the day, so I guess I can't be the only Norwegian who watched them either.

Is there someone here who can confirm whether the two Time Quest games made in AGS by TERNOX and Sledgy are, in fact, unfinishable?

This reminds me about the Seinfeld episode where Seinfeld and Kramer are washing up in the restroom of a pizza restaurant, and the pizza chef comes out of a stall and walks out without washing. They somewhat lose their apetite...

Recently, I've played Fur Balls 1 - evil be thy name: Bundles of mayhem!
I got stuck in a room with a smoking fur ball watching the TV . Probably a bug since the game was fair and easy up to that point. Plus, you can't leave the room and few things are interactive.

I just had to try this, of course... It's a bit of a pixel hunt.
Spoiler
There is a small piece of wood hidden somewhere on the large logs. Take it.

I guess you will be able to kill the furball after that.
