Just yesterday I was reminiscing about how good A Simple Plan is! I'm pretty sure you're right milkanannan.

Yeah, that was indeed a cool movie. I only watched it once maybe 20 years ago, but I can still recite lines from when Billy Bob Thornton's character dies.

I think I originally heard about this New Brunswick Nova Scotia group on Kate Beaton's Twitter. I like the multilingual English/Chiac lyrics.

Kinda cool they're sing/rapping in Chiac, but ugh watching that video makes my face want to cringe implode.

Was the seagull carrying something from someone on a deserted island (ie a note)? Perhaps this item was destroyed while cooking?

My sister-in-law said me a riddle some time ago:

A woman goes on a beach with a portable stove and a riffle. She shoots a seagull and cooks it. Then she tries to eat it, spits it out and bursts into floods of tears. Why?

You may ask questions and I'll give you a Yes or No response.

Is she on a deserted island?

Was there something inside the seagull that caused her to cry?

Was she crying because the cooked seagull was still hot?

Ah yeah I think you’re right. I was going to guess a movie franchise as well, but I couldn’t think specifically of that one (I thought maybe judge Dredd or...maybe even Predator).
