Haggis, I've got this on again mate. I get the feeling this track spawned a thousand failed marriages. I'm not crazy about the vocals, but the hook is quite catchy.
That track led me to this:

I was with a mate of mine, a few years younger, walking around Ginza. We had to move several times because he kept hearing this highly-pitched noise that the rest of us couldn’t hear. I think officially they’re to deter rats but I’ve since heard that they also stop groups of teens hanging around in front of the upmarket shops.
I’ve also heard that they sometimes play a mosquito noise to stop homeless people sleeping in doorways, but I don’t know how true that is.

Here's something that grinds my gears.
Very high-pitched devices, used for scaring away cats or sometimes used in shops to "detract" youths.
Because I can hear those things, and they're nauseating!
What do they sound like?
Just make it twenty times louder and have it rapidly turn on and off.

Ohhh yes! I can relate so much Our neighboor has one of these torture devices and I get the feeling that cats don´t care about it at all. But I care! It has become a running gag in our family since we tried to talk to him about it and he said he can not hear it, so we shouldn´t too. He even upgraded it to something that makes a bright light when you get to close, but he had to take that down, because we were not the only ones bothered by it..

BASIC:
10 PRINT "LEAD HORSE TO WATER"
20 GOTO 10
30 PRINT "MAKE IT DRINK"
At least someone got a laugh. And, I must admit that typing a few lines in BASIC really made me want to write a game in BASIC again. So many fond memories from the eighties.

If you haven't seen it, you need to watch the music video (the guys who made it went on to direct the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie)

The real hero of tracks like these is the drummer. How in hell can they keep a double kick going that long?!
I mean, that's pretty much standard for any extreme metal drummer, but what's amazing about this guy in particular is the sheer amount of stuff he's got going on at any given moment.
It's not the speed for me, it's the complexity... Like... he's not improvising. He's learned all that. He can remember all that. He can repeat it. The mind boggles.
(I once saw them live but the volume was too brutal to appreciate any of the fine detail. I tend to prefer to listen to bands like these at home and with headphones in order to be able to hear every single thing they're doing!)
