OMG! Can't belive I got one right this time. I've been lurking in this thread for ages.
Nice movie btw - I like the whole feel of these wes anderson movies. They have this dreamy nostaligic feeling to it. Must be the music,yes..

Do you have servo steering? I know little about cars myself but the hint with the steering wheel could mean that it's the pump of the servo steering.
Depends if its really loud so you can hear it from far away it could also be the V-Belt rather than the timing belt. The later would probably very expensive to fix.

Puzzle Design

It's the heart of every adventure game still there isn't a competition about it.
It could feature a problem and you have to come up with a creative and plausible way to solve it.
