Hey guys,

for ages, I've been trying to find out the artist and the name of the painting that (in form of a tapestry) hangs in our living room. Here it is:

My father is sure that, when he bought it ages ago, he had been said that this is based on a painting by some painter. I myself have absolutely no idea about that kind of stuff, so I hope one of you does. It's not an important question, to be honest; I just wanted to know it.

An image search via Google didn't bring up valuable results. I guess the colour of the tapestry has worn off heavily over the years.

Thanks :D

A few weeks ago I've have that same issue on every site with a flash video player on it (like youtube and stuff). The problem just disappeared after two days, so I can'T really say what caused it.

Yes, a whole lot of the movie is like that. Don't know why, exactly.

I'm looking for a movie, but I just can't find it.
Its plot involves some kind of nanobots (or just little robots) eating metal. They somehow destroy all the computers, and at the end, traffic lights go wild. In order to stop them, the protagonist uses the gameboy of his son, which is the last computer on earth or something, to hack into the nanobots' main system and stop them.
I'm afraid that's all I can remember. I've seen it here in Germany on TV a couple of years ago. Don't know if it's a production for television or for the movies.
I'd say it's a 90s film, maybe 1990 to 2001.

Anyone know that?

Does anyone of you happen to have I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream (the video game, not the book) and would sell it to me? I'd like to have it in it's original box, but wouldn't care if it looked used. Should be the uncut version (i.e. with the Nimdok chapter in it; here in Germany at least, they've taken it out). Payment via PayPal. Shipping to Germany. If anyone has it and is interested in selling it, drop me a PM. Thanks :D

I have tried that, but maybe he has turned that option off. Thanks anyway :D

Does anyone of you have loominous' email address and could PM it to me? He hasn't been around for quite a while, and I need to reach him. Thanks :D

No one? Or if anyone knows who _could_ have it, please let me know :D Thanks!

Just a quick overview on how I assembled some photos to a new image and further edited them to be the cover of an upcoming project of mine.
CLICK

I know it's not perfect at all, and to a professional it might look like shit, but I thought it might give some people an idea of how several pictures can be combined. Done in Photoshop.

If it would be useful to someone, I could try to go into a little more detail regarding the later steps, i.e. the adjustment of colours etc.

The text reads: 1: Assemble pictures; 2: Define lightsource and block in shadows; 3: Adjust brightness, contrast, colours, sharpness and hue.

I liked the PP. I'd be happy to see it again.

Presumably yes.

Background Blitz is now called Mockup Blitz, where you have to create a background, a character and an interface all at once. BB isn't dead, it's up to the winner to decide whether there will be a round of BB or MB.

I second He-Man. I really like the idea.
