AGS Panel Rating

Coyote shows promise as a story, but with a distinct lack of things to do and very limited animations it just isn't much of an actual game yet.

Not much gameplay in this one, but love the voice-acting!

The Coyote is the hero this town deserves.
The humor is good in this one and the dialog and even the voiceacting really makes this game stand out, it was made in 2009 where voiceacting wasn't the norm for hobbyist games. The puzzles are rather obstruse. The graphics are good and totally get the story across. And I shiver of the youtube filters because the soundtrack is ripped from the great Ennio Morricone, this just makes it so much more spaghetti western. Enjoy this way too short game that probably never will see the second episode. Hedgefield, give us another part please!

Great concept for a series of short Western adventure games. But disappointingly the author hasn't after 6 years made done even the second episode, which probably means we shouldn't expect it ever again. Quite sad, really.

This game features great voice acting, and even better music (Ennio Morricone was and remains flawless).

It felt horribly short, but that just means it left me wanting more. On the other hand, all in all, there wasn't much to be done in the game, and the large environements you couldn't interact with left it feeling somewhat empty. Why there was a barn, a gun shop, a sheriff's office and an entire main street if you can't do anything there, I'm not sure.

All in all, you're pretty talented, but you should put more work into filling the game up.

This game is awesome great music that really sets the tone, excellent voice acting and great puzzles. I can't wait for Coyote Episode 2!
