A christmas present for my girlfriend.
She liked it, so maybe you will.
Story:
It's christmas eve and Aida is meeting her boyfriend outside the local cinema, though he doesn't show up. So she first smokes a cigarette and then decides to go and search for him. This takes her on a journey through time and space, all the while not learning any cheesy christmas lesson.
- Meet the amazing main character Aida!
- Two different endings.
- Open ended gameplay with different paths you can finish in your own way.
- Moderatly funny dialogue.
- Bizarre minigames.
- Classic point-and-click style of gameplay.
- Gore (Of course, but not too much. I…t is a christmas game after all.)
- Learn of swedish christmas traditions. (No elfs or other americanish styled christmas characters.)
- A game made out of love for another person (quite freaky if you ask me).
- About 5-6 hours of gameplay.

An interesting take on Christmas, you take on the role of Aida who is looking for her boyfriend and ends up having to save Santa. The game actually gives you quite a bit to do as long as you can look past the sometimes strange puzzles and quirky bugs, although some may find the minigames too unforgiving.
December 2014
December asks for a Christmas game as Pick of the Month, so here is a somewhat different take on the usual story: An evil usurper has taken control over Santaland. Can Aida find enough allies to fight him and save Christmas? Warning, some gore included!

I have to say, the start of the game did not look too promising, but it does progress into quite a charming game. There is nice animation and music, some tricky yet manageable minigames.
It's not an award-winner, but for what it is, I think it does rather well :)
There are hardly any games that are cute while still showing lots of gore. This game succeeds in that. The graphics are nice despite the weird walkcycle and the music fits the various scenes. However, the best part of this game are the puzzles. Sometimes tricky, sometimes easy, some minigames but always fair.
