The Journey Down is a beautifully crafted adventure with a unique character style and a level of polish rarely seen in freeware games, though the sometimes rough animations and overscaling issues (as well as an odd lack of sounds) stand out simply because everything else looks so great. If you can get past a few flaws in the surface and a relatively short play time, The Journey Down will no doubt be a gem to add to your game collection.
September 2010
How could I not pick this one? The Journey Down: Over the Edge has been hotly anticipated despite only being announced weeks before it's release and rightly so. …
We'd love to hear what you think about the game!

Good game with very likeable characters and a lot of humor
With Chapter 3 of the commercial release launched this week, I'm going to write about this game as the "Golden Oldie" in this month's MAGSAN edition. Still remember this original game with immense fondness.
I look forward to Chapter 2!
Enjoyed it! Waiting for the next installment. :) Wish there could have been voice acting though.
I've played so many games in my lifetime and I would without a doubt put this in my top 10. Everything was perfect! Puzzles were the right balance of not too hard or easy, graphics were AMAZING and the dialog was funny and engaging. I can not wait for part two!
