About

Shortly after your adventure with the mystery in Montana, you are given a case involving mysterious deaths in Landsdowne, Massachusetts. The bodies of two men in their early twenties have been found recently, and according to local authorities both dead men looked to be in their seventies when their bodies were found. There is no explanation as both men were thought to be healthy, and in the prime of their lives. Add to this the odd reports of a pack of strange animals roaming the town at night, and you have your work cut out for you.

Is there some sort of vampire creature on the loose as some of the town rumors suggest? What is behind the rumors of odd goat-like creatures that have been seen after nightfall? Are the two related? You are thrown into the midst of an age long battle between good and evil as you investigate the case of the Life Drinker of Landsdowne.

I've just spent the last two days playing through the Murran Chronicles and:

What an amazing journey from Part 1 (rough as hell but with a heart of gold), through to Part 2 (some rough corners smoothed off and some character dev), and ending in Part 3 here...which...

I would have to say is a MASTERPIECE!!!

The best part about playing all three was to see the huge leaps and bounds a serious dev can make with their craft if they stick at it. If you sat 10 people down to play Part 1 and Part 3 I would say that 9 out of 10 would be amazed that they were made by the same person.

I did get the feeling that the ending stages got a bit rushed, perhaps by RL pressures on the author to release the game, but even then I did not mind as the game was so SOLID: I almost never felt at a loss about what I was supposed to do next, and yet the game also let me just do my own thing if I didn't want to follow the "objectives", and even provided some nice easter eggs along the way to reward me for straying off the beaten path.

The cast of characters is charming, especially Gary, and I LOVED the credits sequence. I've never seen that done before in a game.

10/10 rating from me, and I only wish there was a Part 4...

After 2 previous games i expected more from this game. First half of the game is interesting and well written. But after that there's too much fantasy in my opinion. Anyway the game is quite good and I recommend it.

The game was really well written, and the story was very deep and complex. The animation was a bit choppy at times and some stuff didn't mesh well for me graphically, but overall it was a very nice and polished game.

I really liked this game. The story was really good and it maker put lots of time into it with exactness.
