AGS Panel Rating

Very interesting short sci-fi game concept with attractive presentation and strong atmosphere. 2 major puzzles can easily lead to frustration, but to be fair they work well within the storyline and the game offers alternative, non-optimal ways of solving them.

Pick of the Month

January 2012

We kick off the first month of a new year with the first game from a new developer that everyone has been watching for a while now. Featuring those beautiful graphics we've all come to know and love from him, Dane Krams gives us a very atmospheric and satisfying first effort with Egress - The Test of STS-417. Play it

Gave up on the second puzzle; delay between screens is not needed.

Most of the cutscenes are black screens with "walking in the snow" noise. Sometimes with dialogs.

Definitely one of the best short-form games I've come across. Primarily due to the careful linking of gameplay and story.
