About

Commissar's Contrapasso is a story about an arrogant soviet commissar
who follows the official doctrines of the party with little regard for the simple soldiers beneath him, until he finds himself caught alone behind enemy lines that is.

What follows is a darkly humorous adventure with many strange turns. Whether or not the commissar will make it out alive depends on you, the player.

Great graphics, brilliant dialogues and captivating storyline mixed with a bit of history lesson in a fun way. Definitely recommended.

Commissar's Contrapasso is a bit of a linear game, but sometimes that can be overlooked if the game excels in other departments. This is one of those games. With excellent graphics, animations, and fitting music, and a storyline that three dimensionalizes the two main characters more and more as the game progresses, I would vote for this game four cups, highly recommend playing.

A fine spin-off from the super-duper-immersive-4-free-franchise-universe "Sniper and Spotter"! It was a cool idea to get to slip into the life of the unsympath "commissar". Creator Blondbraid did a good job, making the character believable while still maintaining the satirical tone of the series. Although puzzle-wise it was the weakest part of the franchise, the excellent storytelling is definitely making up for it. Looking forward to have another look at the soviet era, through the eyes of a scandinavian game designer.

Lovely medium sized game, puzzles aren't hard at all and fells more like playing an interactive novel.
Very in style with previous games in the "series" by the same Author.
Lovely story, that catch me by surprise once or twice.
