The game is not only a tribute to Space Quest, it even surpasses the original in many places! Good pixel graphics, nicely written story, super designed puzzles. Okay, you have to like the deaths, but they are part of Space Quest. Really highly recommended!

Fun fan game.
Puzzles were pretty tough, even with the graphical interface instead of a text parser. But never insurmountable or unfair.
A truly superb game. Creative puzzles, challenging but fair, excellent art, witty and engaging humor with many nods to the genre and other familiar titles.

This is Roger Wilco at his clumsy best. Behold a fan game that is as good as anything Sierra released in their heyday. Absolutely magnificent!
It's been a couple of decades since I played the Space Quest games but I think this prequel captures the spirit of these games without sacrificing modern gameplay.
